ps3 vs xbox 360?

Have you used a wii? If so how do the controls compare? Personally, I like the idea, but hate how it works with the wii.

Got a Wii as well.

Wii doesn't compare to the Kinect since you don't need to handle the controller.

Example: on a workout on the Wii, you are able to cheat by minimizing the motion etc.. With the Kinect, you have to follow through the motions since it captures your camera image. Seeing yourself on the screen helps you to immediately correct form etc. which is also very helpful.

Takes a bit of getting used to but it's way fun...

I had originally bought a Wii with the family in mind but with the controller etc. the kids play it from time to time but WE never got into it. With the PS3 we played Guitar Hero etc.. I like that with the Kinect I can interact with the screen without holding the dang controller.

Personal choice... The PS3 is just as good if not better for games that use a controller... For family 'fun' so far - the Kinect is way ahead...

Wii = Have friends and play video games with them
Xbox360 = Have online friends and play with them
PS3 = Don't have any friends

PS3 and Xbox360 are pretty much the same, expect some major titles which are console restricted such as halo. If I was you I'd get the Xbox360, since it's pretty much a ps3, but has better online gameplay.

PS3 doesn't have any cross game chat. People are talking about exclusives like PS3 is the best but there are a few pretty great exclusives for the 360. (Gears being the first one that comes to mind.)

Honestly it depends on what you're friends have. Get a PS3 if they've got PS3s, an Xbox if they don't.

Also I think there are better games on Xbox Live Arcade. (PSN doesn't have Geometry Wars)

360 because you can easily download and burn the games from bootleg sites such as my own.

Really, you guys do this?

I don't have a games system, don't have time these days but I see on TV games are what about $50 for the new titles. I would guess on average each person puts 100 hours into a game, so it's costing you 50 cents to a dollar per hour on average for the entertainment value.

And yet there are 15 threads complaining about emerica shutting down the internet.

also lets not forget that Sony got hacked to shit by Anonymous/Lulzsec because they had insecure servers and their online gameplay was down for 30+ days + tons of member info leaked.
