There's been trouble brewing between V.Putin and those Wahhabi bastards in Saudi Arabia for some time, and things are hotting-up. The back-story is interesting and the Saudis have picked on the wrong man.

Saudi would be incredibly stupid to provoke Russia. I wonder how the USA would respond if, for example, Saudi 'controlled' terrorists are successful in attacking the Olympics and Russia decides to punish Saudi Arabia. I don't think there would be too many leaders shedding a tear for the house of Saud, but there would be panic in the oil market.

Putin isn't exactly a saint, but in these troubled times we need strong leaders and Vlad certainly knows his own mind.

Lets face it Saudi / Obama relations could easily just increase the price of oil at a whim anyway. As for picking a fight with Putin? That wouldn't be clever at all.

What can Putin and Russia do against Saudi , Saudi is one of the effective and strongest countries on the middle east after Egypt.

Haha, their GDP is the size of Italy, ranking 8th in the world. While maintaining a size-able army, it still isn't very modernize in the scope of the United States

Yes you right , but if you read the history you will see how much saudi is strong specially on war 1973 between egypt and Israel . when saudi just use small weapon "Petrol" against countries supporting Israel and its have role on making Egypt gain the war
 
It doesn't matter. Russia can't do anything against Saudi Arabia, as they're backed by the US. Attacking Saudi Arabia is the equivalent of attacking the US.

History repeats itself yes, but a war today doesn't mean that they are gonna repeat the same victory they had 4 decades ago. Countries evolve, gets connections, gets new allies like what happen to china's economy and army and its a major ally of russia and a lot more. Its much more complicated now than the war in 1973 and it doesnt mean that if saudi has the power over oil means that russia doesn't hold an ace of their own. This will get solved eventually.

That's the only reason why I think russia isn't making a move. Nice call brah. Remember what the resolution US and russia had in the Syria gas attacks? Our Governments want to lower the casualties and attack each other in the back rather than waging an all out war

I'm not sure, and maybe someone who's more knowledgeable can correct me, but you might want to think twice about that. I remember reading up and watching some documentaries on this. I guess decades ago the US and Russia split ways on their military strategies.

The US went for technology and long-range combat, while Russia stuck with evolving their close range combat capabilities. So if the war was lobbing missiles 2000km away, the US would win. If the war concentrated on close-range dog-fights and tank battles, there's a chance Russia would win.

Again, I could be wrong on that.
 
America might need saudis for oil - but they need China for everything. And China ain't gonna be happy if they start fucking with Russia.

I'm not nationalistic, so I don't care. Jihads need to die - anyone who thinks otherwise can donate their wife to them and join the bike club.

I don't believe it. The Yanks were saying the Soviets were a scary bunch of guys for decades, in order to justify their big fat military budgets.

Unless we are talking about invading Russian territory, I think the British or Israelis could kick Russian ass pretty easy.
