quick and dirty on ranking something

The thought has crossed my mind, especially in the case of one client who particularly burned me. Many months have passed, and I am glad I didn't seek retribution, even though it might have been pretty sweet surely. Doing a lot of ORM myself, I have had some clients come to me who are just in pieces thanks to the work done by some pissed off person they did wrong. It is amazing the kind of harm that can be down, both financially and personally. Usually, it far outweighs anything they did, and may cost them for many years to come, even after paying me to do extensive work for them.

Getting burned is the cost of doing business. I take every precaution to "not get fucked with", but it will happen anyways. You live, learn and move on. Like efeezy said, spend your time and money on something positive instead.

Usually when someone gets revenge, the slap back is suppose to be harder than the original hit. I mean it's rather ironic, they fuck over someone, then come crying when they get fucked over 10x time by that person they fucked over... Guess they learned their lesson, don't fuck people over, especially people that have resources, skills, or talents you are un-aware of. That's also why you always get the money upfront.

"No situation is ever black and white. There is a time to take up the sword and a time to put down the sword, a wise man is one who has learnt to tell the timing of a situation." - CCarter (yeah, I'm quoting myself)

Let's not pretend that we are all walking around turning the other cheek to people that actively try to fuck us over. You'll get ran over quickly in life if you don't stand up for yourself at some point.

People have disagreement, argue, have fights, physical confrontations, shit when you're angry, you're fucking angry, you'll unleash the beast, it's part of being human, we aren't robots.

At some point when people fuck people over, they are going to fuck over the wrong person, and that's their karma coming back. You don't have to agree with it or even like it, but this Earth is not Utopia, it's the reality of the times we live in. The person who is doing the first fucking over is being naive, like they are going to get away with it... They think they outsmarted someone, not regretting it at all - then realize they may have screwed over someone who was just at the edge, having a bad day and they just placed the final straw that broke the camel's back. Sometimes you need that release.

So, be careful who you do business with and get the money upfront.

1. Register their brand names out from under them with knowem and post your poop.

Taken literally, this is an epic idea. No slander, no blowback ... just lots of shit surrounding their brand. Fucking awesome.

Problem is in this situation is the OP was made blind first... You're not going to make me blind, without me making you blind and deaf and possible more, fuck that.

I'm assuming you know the OP personally, including his situation? If not, then you don't know that. All we have so far is an accusation from someone who's pissed off.

There's always two sides to a story, and all that...

I don't know the OP personally, and actually you're right. Dude came in here stating someone ripped him off, yeah there are two sides to a story, I don't know the other side and we may never know the other side, but at the same time people drop in generic comments like 'eye for an eye', come on... let's be serious, when someone feels they got ripped off, they feel like they got ripped off, and are going to be angry. I recall all the times I've been screwed over, and the anger I had. We're not saints... being angry is being human. I'm not going to pretend that I'm more than human.

I don't know, to each their own. From my experience at least, the more successful people I've met in my life don't let anger get the best of them. Instead, they take a step back, think about what actions they took to lead them into whatever problem is occurring, then correct themselves to ensure they don't do it again.

The guys that fly off the handle in fits of rage tend to end up losing in the long run though.

You should tell that to Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, or the other very successful people that were known to have angry issues... Let's not pretend we are infallible here, people get angry, if you don't, well...

Edit: looks like you deleted your post...

Several years ago I ended up going to a shelter and adopting a female dog named Karma. Wasn't planned, but yes, I own that bitch named Karma.

Seeking retribution, for slights real or imagined, isn't really a good use of time. There really isn't much benefit in "making them pay" other than a fleeting "I got them" moment.

The guys that fly off the handle in fits of rage tend to end up losing in the long run though.

The one thing I've seen Kiopa_Matt post that has something worth thinking about.

It's very easy OP, I can give you this 2 steps guide. Can you believe it's only 2 steps? Quick, simple, don't know how dirty is. Anyway:

1. Find something
2. Rank it

LOL I've done this before.

This company whom I disliked was getting bad reviews and I wrote a blog post about it. A few months later I realized that, because of the bad reviews, they hired some ORM guy.

I could see the ORM guy's work in the SERPs so I re-wrote my review as "Company X is {manipulating you online|hiding their garbage|taking advantage of you}" and outed their ORM. I also had a call to action to "share this on FB/twitter/etc so that others won't be tricked by Company X."

Because of that, my post had several thousand shares. The company also fired the ORM guy as well since the ORM stopped a few months after my post.

So, you get to take revenge, have the crowd back your revenge plot, and have them give up on ORM all in one go. #triwinning

This thread totally didn't go the way I thought it would, great read :)
