Quiznos Corp Files for Bankruptcy

Fuck all your rubber and plastic sandwiches made of genetically-fucked-up meats.

Foreign food is my new fast food.

I just had a delicious North Indian thali + mango lassi that looked like this for $6.50

Horrible Food.
Overpriced.
Mostly Foreign owners who didn't follow proper food/prep or customer service.
Awful marketing (Commercial above confirms this).
Got pushed around by Subway, and didn't fight back creatively.

.....

Quizons was bankrupt the moment they registered their business.

Whoever founded that was brilliant though.. All that franchise $$$$$$$$$$$$ and what not.

The Ryan Eagle dream. Profit off others, bounce.

ate at quiznos once and never went back hell where I did go was to the damn hospital go figure they should have went under before I ate there could have save me some money.

I see you had a spoon. No way was that real indian food. lol

What the fuck is that?
It looks like some Thanksgiving sandwich, but it totally misses the point of Thanksgiving.

You are happy with that? You get the tastes, but don't have to deal with people?

Wow.

I can't tell if you're insulting or praising this magnificent sammich. The Bobby is a modern marvel. The Bobby is like Thanksgiving jizzing in your mouth. The Bobby is "The" sammich.

I'm surprised no one mentioned how Quiznos was almost universally run by freshly-imported Indians. The recipes were quite good and their condiments like that honey mustard sauce was the kind of thing you always asked for more of and then took some home to use... But each time I went, in several different cities, the Indian staff was rude, dirty, and didn't bother to speak 5 whole words of english while taking my order. Forget about asking them for specialization.

I saw this coming years off... Good flavor alone cannot keep a whole chain afloat for long. Better real estate and marketing would have given them longer but damn, when your every experience with the staff sucks, you eventually just stop going, period.

I'm not sure about how it is where you guys live, but everywhere I've lived, the main issue with Quiznos was location. They always had the most ridiculous, off-the-beaten-path real estate.

"Hmmm, I want to eat a sandwich. I could drive off the main road here, back behind the hospital and across from that art gallery, hope to find a parking spot, and get Quiznos, or I could just hit up that Subway right there and be on my way."

same. the quiznos in my city was between a jenny craig, a gamestop, and across the street from blockbuster. it's as if the business owner deliberately wanted to drive the shop into the ground. it totally helps that their food tastes like ass.
