Range Rover Runs Over Bikers

pretty sound reasoning some of you have about the driver having a gun.
yeah, you guys with a gun in your car would totally just shoot at a pack of bikers...

Welcome to the internet everyone.

Enlighten us. Tell us all about how the biker gang that is raining broken glass into a car with a baby in it are really reasonable guys. That they would respond better to an open, heartfelt dialogue and we should just hug it out right?

dunno biker who brake checked the RR is defo to blame to some extent but that dont give the RR driver the right to attempt to murder several of the bikers!

Nope, but I'm sure you understand at least one of the biker guys might also have a gun. Probably more than one of them. Unless you have a x-ray vision and can see who is packing and take them out first, you are likely just making the situation MUCH worse.

Not only are you escalating the threat level so that they can respond in kind, you also open yourself up to legal trouble. Which could lead you to having to flee the country and live in Mexico to avoid prosecution.

I don't know about you, but I'd take Ass kicking > getting shot/going to jail any day.

He should have pulled over and call the cops from within his car. Maybe he couldn't think straight in that situation.

These bikers would not kill anyone on an open 3 lane street in NYC without a very serious reason (at least 99.99% of the time lol)..

Pulling a gun would not work and would get your family into a lot more danger.. If they really wouldn't wait for the cops and smash in the car window you can still try to get into a more crowded area.

Also lol at the biker who uploaded the footage and didn't cut out the part where the guy smashed his helmet into the window..

Which would be reasonable IF he did not have his wife and child with him. Because now he has three people to protect. Anyone can take an ass kicking if he's on his own but there is no way if I were a man or hell as a woman that I would stop standing between these people and my family. I will not be dragged from the vehicle leaving my family vulnerable and alone. I will provide cover by fire so that they can exit if need be. These people have already shown themselves to be impulsive, aggressive and dangerous. I think any repercussions on a legal level are much more bearable than having to live the rest of my life knowing something happened to my family and I didn't do everything in my power to protect them.

Paralyzed sucks... watched it happen to a friend in high school who got shot.

With the guy's spine broken, unless he does extreme exercising of his body..... his internal organs and might not get the same workout as before and his life expectancy can be cut down to under 15 more years.

My friend /teammate died within 13 years of being paralyzed....

bad decision making all around sums this up . Bikers would have been smarter letting him rot in jail and holding him in traffic for police.

George Zimmerman part 2?

Banned in 3,2,...

What a load of shit. Extreme exercising of his body, wot? You know fuck all. Paralysis can shorten your life, but if you look after yourself, then it's not of much impact unless it's a neck break.

Spinal damage does not directly impact the organs and their longevity. It's all about health and looking after yourself, and in neck injuries that's harder and in back injuries if you're not a lazy fat prick, the impact is near zero.

Am I the only that was scared as fuck for the driver of that Range Rover?

Fucking idiots creating a stereotype for bikers that shouldn't be.

Finally broke down and watched this.

I have a friend who's a biker... and I'm on the side of the SUV driver. It takes a special kind of retard to brake check a SUV on a sport bike. Just karma playing itself out when you ride with people like that and then get run over.

From what I read, that's what he did. He accidentally lightly hit one of the guys, so pulled over to exchange insurance info, etc.

All reports say that, when he initially stopped on the highway after bumping the motorcyclist, the bikers started denting his car with their helmet and slashed his tires.

I don't think anyone in this video or before this video did anything right. Lot's of unjustified stuff happened and no one knows what happened before the video started.

charged with reckless endangerment and unlawful imprisonment
Ok, whatever... what bullshit. When does a cop get charged for reckless endangerment and unlawful imprisonment?

I must have seen video of 200 cops recklessly endangering people, and unlawfully imprisoning them.

But this guy? ...who was a dumbass with no state power, gets nailed? His penalty for being stupid is getting hit by a larger vehicle.

Shouldn't a cop who arrests someone and jails them, with no charges, get the same "unlawful imprisonment" charge?

Laws are for you, not for them.

yep its sad but its the way the world works.

Cops tend to take their job personally and due to emotion take things to a level where it should not be.

And regarding an earlier comment about a gun. If the driver had one, it would of not gone well. I ride with many riders of all kinds of varieties and many of them carry a gun. Im sure some of them were carrying.

Infact if a biker did shoot the driver and killed him, Id bet he would have a very strong argument of self defense. A moving vehicle can be considered a deadly weapon.

Then they should have the decency to take that "protect and serve" pin striping off of their cars.

Any normal person gets fired for imprisoning someone illegally. Or, they go to prison over it.

Cops are civilians, and should start acting like it again. Taking your job personally, or internal emotional problems, is not an excuse for anyone else. Ask a cop.
