Um he was only falling around 120mph (terminal velocity) when he popped the chute - just like any other jump

I didn't hear about his mask fogging up - obviously if he couldn't see his altimeter that's a good fucking time to pop the chute lol

At the speed he was going just before he opened the shoot you still cover thousands of feet in 12 seconds.

If he wanted to break them all he would have had to have reduced his speed higher up, rather than saving opening his chute until closer to the ground.

Redbull placed a huge bet on this, if something bad would have happened to him they would have gone to shit.

Something bad happens = people will watch and re-watch that video for years and years and years to come along with the redbull logo.

Nothing bad happens = pretty much nobody watches the video again after today.
