Im so excited about the new direction the forum is moving in. I can't wait to see some of the major changes! Does this mean I get to promote my affiliate offer now? Hahaha.

This sarcasm I just don't get. Not that I don't see it, I just don't understand it's purpose.
Is it funny ? Is Jon a bad guy ? There's been way too much unnecessary, unproductive drama around here in the last couple of days.

I read the "drama threads" over the weekend too, and have gone from shock and disappointment - to relief over feeling that things will work out after all. My main concern was that we were loosing great people here and that things were getting out of hand. But now WF as a unique community can put that behind...
I just wanna say that I have faith in everyone getting along again. I have faith in this forum staying on track and be the greatest internet marketing forum out there.
As far as WF straying away from original form, etc... My thoughts on that are: Yes, there has been a huge increase in new members. Yes, there has been a decrease in quality posts and an increase in worseless threads lately. Hey, we're all to blame for that.
To all the newbies who have joined within the last month: Read the forum guidelines of each section before posting. We have a Newbie Section for a reason, and although this is an open forum - it's also a forum organized into sections, neatly divided by subject. You have come to the best forum of its kind on the web - but use your head and do a little research before asking the most basic questions. And - don't be a cockbite unless you have a good reason to be.
To Chrislingle: I hope you will stick around and that you have changed your mind about leaving. Some of your posts have single-handedly contributed to a LOT of inspiration to people, as well as insight on starting up different things from scratch. It wouldn't feel quite right with you gone, plus - we need an Official WF Vent/Profanity Master (tm)

To Jon: I appreciate your attitude in retrospect of all this, squaring up with chrislingle and all. I think people will respect your apologies (and some of the bans which I am sure were deserved) and determination to get WF back on track.
Now let's all get crackin' and make some $$$$$!

I am not going to read everything. I read Jon's apology though. I manage a large forum myself and I have seen so many fights and issues between members and me (forums administration). These things always leave a bitter taste and certain things will never be the same. Issues like this will always pop up again. Some members think they are so powerful and can do anything they want. An admin has to decide when to let them go (ban). An admin has to decide when the damage of letting these people go rampage is bigger than letting them go. It always sucks, but as a forum admin I look out for the forum first and only second for individual members.

I have no clue on what's going on nor do I care about any of the drama that happened over the weekend. I skimmed some of the posts in confusion and quickly gave up on reading them once I determined none of it will contribute to my success (or failure).
Just be real.
Maybe Ben needs to do a "Wicked Beach" cartoon ~ you know so everyone can get their drama fix that way.
