If your a woman, your hair must be a platinium blonde color to anchor at fox news. Apparently it insures that the news reports are fair and accurate.
 


For this generation, yes. The communist threat changed everything for the Mcarthur generation. There is always going to be fear of the "other". The mistake is letting that fear guide a nation.

Now if they would just strip while they delivered the news! I have noticed that Fox has hot chicks and the more liberal news stations have women that resemble men.

Actually, I would expect that because intelligent people actually listen to the commentary and don't watch a station because a blonde is on it.
 
Children of the 50s who were afraid of communists under the bed who'd take them out, force them to conform (but differently from how they were doing it) and not let anyone earn more money than was required to live at a decent standard...
You could basically make sure any of your political enemies by publicly asking them if they currently were, or ever had been, in contact with anyone in any way related to communism. From there a strawman would be built in your image and cast on the bonfire.

Thanks for your response but I believe what you are describing was called “McCarthyism.” The term I inquired about was the “Mcarthur generation.”
