What I mean by Reverse IP Lookup is other affiliates being able to find all your sites on your DEDI or VPS by doing a reverse IP lookup which will show them all sites hosted on that IP.

I just talked to hosting support and they disabled "mod_userdir Protection" but I'm not convinced that it does the trick because the description of that option talks about something that does not seem related to me...

Anyone knows how to take care of this?

My host uses Web Host Manager/cPanel.

What is the best way to have unique IPs?

Can you simply set a unique IP for each domain or how does that work?
My host is LiquidWeb and I was under the impression that you only can have 4 different IPs there.

@Jean: Use a unique IP per domain. Any decent hosting provider should give you as many unique IPs as you are willing to pay for.

K, thanks

Just got off the phone with them and they told me I can get more IPs @ .50 cents a month per extra IP.

I've sometimes thought about the original poster's question as well, but I only came up with what others suggested - buy more ip's. If you are profiting, it shouldn't really be anything. (but of course, there's always people that aren't in that position)

Get a bogus domain and add 10 million subdomains to it, That way when they look you up, they have to try to filter through it all.

That or unique ips.

Hmm, interesting idea. That doesn't hurt you in any way? (that is, hurt your real sites that matter, that are on the same ip.)
