robber gunned down youtube video

he definitely needed to cap him. as soon as the robber sees security he points the gun directly at the guard, at that point, he's just put the guard's life in danger making it self defense.

the sad thing is the gunman isn't holding the place up for money, it's a pharmacy and he's holding it up for pills. He's a fucking drug addict.

I think it would be more profitable to steal a bag full of pills than a cash that gets emptied every few hours?

The security guy clearly used what would be excessive force by the police if they did it. Shoot the guy? Sure. Shoot him 3-4 times as he is falling to the floor? No.

Considering the fact that the security guy had plenty of time to run around the guy and shoot him several times. I am sure he would have had time to disarm him in another manner. If that guy was a trained police officer in the store he would not have acted in the same manner which is what I have a problem with. A can of pepper spray would have done the same thing.

:nopenope::nopenope::nopenope::nopenope::nopenope::nopenope:

I would love to see you and your pepper spray put in this situation!!!

Your criticism of his actions is just plain ignorant. Until you've been face to face with a whacked out druggie with a gun, STFU!

If the robber shot the guy behind the counter people would say "security should have shot him before he had the chance to do that" They did shoot him and now some people are saying they shouldn't have shot him! Poor security are in the shit whatever they do!

I bet you guys packing heat sitting at your computers just incase someone looks in your window...

Florida law already was going to put the guy away for life in prison for using a gun during a crime. Its not like he was going to just get out in a year. I am more than willing to bet that he was going to take that cash he wanted and run out the door like the majority of robberies. The clerks are not always shot after they give up the money or no one would ever work at a 7-11 or gas station.

Good to know the majority of WF is willing to murder someone over $50 though. If affiliate marketing ever goes south for you there is always a job at 7-11.

your logic is too soft, how do you know if the robbery doesnt have the mentality to rob more and point a gun to people more if this one was successful? you soft stance on crimes is making what american streets unsafe today, people doing drive bys and robberies knowing that they wont get death penalty or a harsh penalties. if this was in china you already get the bullet to the head and thats why its safer on the street of china than usa.

I'm sure people here wouldn't want a pick pocket to get killed, hurt maybe, but not killed.

Its not about money, its about principals. The principal here is my right to live without having my life threatened. If someone threatens anyones life, that is an act of violence, and the victim will only instinctively respond.

You don't threaten a person's life, you just don't do it. If it is the agressor the one that ends up on the receiving side of the violence he started, then that is a much better outcome than the victim getting physically hurt/killed. And don't act like the person killing the thug is a bad person; remember killing someone isn't always pretty and many self defence cases end up with the victim traumatized for having killed the attacker.

If that place had a tazer that fucker would still be alive. Sure he tried to rob a place but his gun might not have even been loaded and it looks like they shot him 3-4 times. I hope that $50 they were going to lose was worth killing a guy.
How do you know he wasn't going to kill them??

Anytime someone points a gun at you in that sort of situation there is a good chance you could lose your life. I don't feel sorry for that guy at all. He brought it on himself.

Growing up my parents always told me "never point a gun at someone unless you intend on using it". So with that said, he deserved what he got. Maybe the excessive gun shots were not necessary.

We lose much more than $50. I would rather have him in the ground than in a cell eating free meals off my tax dollars.

Shoot until the threat stops!!

:2gunsfiring_v1:You shoot until the threat stops. I am a NRA Certified firearms instructor and we teach that you keep shooting until the threat is no longer a threat. One shot stops are rare. It normally takes two or more to stop a thug bent on doing you harm.

That guy had it coming. If that place had a tazer and he had a loaded gun, what do you think would have been the outcome? If you do not want to lose your life, don't point a gun at someone (loaded or not) .

If the tazer would have worked he would be out on the streets in 5 years pointing guns at people again. If it wouldn't have worked 3 innocent people would be dead/injured and he would be out in the streets tommorow pointing guns at people again.

He made the choice now he has to live/die with the consequences.

There have been dozens if not hundred of robberies in the US that play out like this, but the clerks DIE when the robber gets what he wants then kills them.

There's been plenty of cases where the robber makes off with only $5 and still kills the clerk.

Good shot from the guy, had I of been there and armed I would of done the same.

Who's to say the robber wasn't going to go down the street and kill someone else?

If a 12 year old kid has a plastic watergun and pulls it on police , they are authorized to shoot to kill. This situation is no different.

At the end of the day we're all just keyboard cowboys.

Your right. No one realy knows how they would react in such a situation. Most people would stand there stunned. I have been fortunate to never have been in such a situation but I know others that have reacted too late or not at all when faced with something like this.

I suppose they could have shot him in the legs!

I don't really get the "shooting him once is ok but 3 or 4 times is to much!" argument!
