I'm about to print out a flyer that says "Lubber is a big fat cunt" and post it all overy my town. So it must be true right?

Politicials' names are stamped all over stuff these days but it doesn't mean it is a representation of him/her.

It is one thing to disagree with a candidates, but slandering them shows how much of an asshat you are.

I find it funny that most of the Paul nuts say everyone else is not capable of independent thought until it applies to them. I am not saying the man is or is not crazy but it is more than something to think about!
 
Dude, I read Hot Air for comedic value. Ron Paul is racist, so why the hell is he recommending one of his friends, Walter Williams, an African American economist to be his running mate?

Since when do white supremacists put blacks into their leadership?

Many of the economists Ron Paul cites in his writings are Jewish. Ludwig Von Mises, Hayek, Murray Rothbard. Why would a white supremacist lift these people up in high esteem?
 
Did you know this has happened elsewhere before? The Australian candidate Pauline Hanson started her own party called One Nation which gained ground on a massive scale. When the other parties got worried they decided to dig up as much dirt on her as possible. The end result, they found a ghost-written book by her with comments which could be considered racist. Same shit, different country. You pay people to promote you, but you can't always watch everyone like a hawk.
 
Dru - that is not really the point. I don't really care what he thinks or says as the man is not relevant! The point is he expects you to believe he had no idea for years that someone he was paying was putting out such nonsense on his name! But to answer your question how hard would it be to say these people are great and I want them to do this that and the other until he is elected and then BAM they are all gone.
My point about this thread was more for fun to see who jumped up and down about it. Also to show Paul acting like every other politician known to man. He is no different than any of the others. The title of this thread was just to get you to look, Marketing, what?

Get rid of govt funding to health care?

America is already bad enough being the only developed nation in the world not just have universal healthcare, yet get rid of any other small trickle of funding? You are voting for death, seriously! The average lifespan of americans is already 5 years below the developed world average!

guess what most of those countries have lower taxes too because they don't spend billions on defence!

man we gotta stand up,

Except those "comments" were said in parliament and are on the official parliamentary record and were to the effect of "I believe we are being swamped by asians"

This is when she was IN the liberal party!

if you want to search that public record go to ph.gov.au and for the 1996-1998parliament search speeches by member and then search immigration under pauline hanson.

Don't tell me these comments were made up! They were said in front of only 100members of the press and several TV cameras IN the chambers of the Australian Parliament!

If you want that sort of socialist bullshit you should move to Canada and then tell me how great it is.

Why the fuck should MY hard earned money go to pay for other people's shitty health care. If someone smokes 2 packs a day and get lung caner I don't want to give him a dime.

Actually quite a bit do.

(I'm not referring to Ron Paul here, I know nothing of this argument.)

Historically, it has been a smart political policy , the more questionable your racial inclinations the more minorities you fill in lead positions. Takes the heat off. Just look at Bush's cabinet. I'm not saying the man is a raciest, but I would never think of him as being friendly with the minority causes. But the best way to combat that is the put-a-minority-in-the-administration red herring tactic. Then, during the time of the presidency when you are accused of having anti-minority agendendas you just point to your own cabinet and say "Bush doesn't hate black people, cause here we have Ms. Condoleezza Rice"

It's only racist if it's not a fact. The number of Asians and Lebanese entering Australia is insane. Not that I have a problem with either race, but with the small number of people in Australia and the nature of the countries development, it becomes important to avoid too much immigration for the sake of keeping the values which founded the country alive. Sounds racist, but theres a fine line.
 
I'm not one to cry "racist", but John McCain made a comment in the debate last night that I thought was... unwise. I think the quote was something like "I don't want to trade with Al Quaida, all they want to trade is burkahs".

But did you all see the exchange between Ron Paul and Brit Hume over that incident with the Iranian speedboats taunting the US Navy ships? I was laughing my ass off over that one, there is no recovering from that.
