===> Ryan Eagle makes it to BHW <===

I am not, nor was I ever, an employee of EWA. My firm did provide de facto general counsel advice for the company until last year (but through the firm), but has not done so in quite some time. I did not have access to that email address. My firm represented EWA in a few matters, that's it.

That's about all I can say in the matter. I did not have any knowledge of, approve, or condone any of the recent actions that we/you have been debating on here. I'm bound, ethically, in what I can say however I felt it necessary to at least make some statement.

It must have been fake. A real attorney would never allow such a cheesy representation
of him or herself to be made online.

Aaron never worked as an employee for ewa, just cause he's listed there doesn't make him an employee. Everyone company pays lawyers a retainer fee and then lists them on their site as their "lawyer."

Every company? WTF... I would venture that very few companies do what you are suggesting.

Considering I have a full list of all of ewa's employees and their salaries + I was the one who posted their a/r + a/p, I think I know what I'm talking about. Aaron was never an employee of EWA.

But cool starry bra.

well...you gotta think for a sec who's website it is (i.e. EWA/Ryan). The bullcrap presented on his website where he stretches the truth about the reach, size, and scope of his operations. I wouldn't be too surprised if this was yet another misrepresentation - stretching the truth - to make his operation look more impressive/legit.

I would personally be a lot more concerned about how Ryan or EWA may have been using your name at misrepresentation of you acting as their legal counsel on matters through an email address you had no control of. Hopefully you are not dragged into any legal proceedings you had absolutely no knowledge of; though honestly with the fake AM's, fake wires and other misrepresentations by Mr. Eagle I would not be one bit surprised.

In fact it looks like at least one attorney was confused enough to send you personally a demand letter...

I would perform your one due diligence ASAP. Before you find out that some attorney somewhere, is asking for sanctions against you for failing to respond to court orders that Ryan et al never notified you of.

Yea I never got that. Now I'm pissed. I just messaged you privately.

man he hired his mother?

thats weak bro. thats weak.

Actually, this is a typical (and often effective) tactic for shady / fraudulent businesses.

Biz going down? Insolvency looming?

Funnel money to your family and away from the dying business.

Hire your family and pay them outrageous wages is one of those tactics.

Also often seen:
Sale or buying of land / other assets (investing) for ridiculous amounts of $$$
