On a side note, nothing but respect for Jerry Sloan -- great coach, and has turned some good players and good teams into great players and great teams. Wouldn't mind if he took over for D'Antoni.

Surprising. I always figured he'd coach the Jazz till he died, and once that happened, they'd just stuff him and lean him against the scorer's table, at least for home games

Damn, I thought he wouldn't stop til he had a ring. It has to be pretty frustrating to be so good for all those years and not have one. Greg Poppavich should let him coach the Spurs for a year. Same boring playing style, but they win championships.
