Scrapebox on linux dedi server?

I've got a dedicated linux server with hostgator which I use for my websites, and I'm considering using it for scrapebox, since running blasts on my PC takes fucking forever. I heard this is possible through a virtualisation software like virtualbox - does anyone have a setup like this? Since I'm a dummy I'll probably have to get someone to set it up for me, but I want to know if this is a good idea first. My server has a 10mbps connection but I can get it upgraded to 100mbps if it's worth doing.
 


I've been running vmware on linux boxes to run windohs bots for years. You can get a windows vps as well if you aren't wanting to deal with the vm setup process.
 
Really not worth the hassle if you do it yourself because you can easily fuck a lot of shit up without even knowing that you did (personal experience while setting up an smtp server in ubuntu).

Just cough up the $30 or w/e and upgrade it to a windows 2008 (NOT 2003 for reasons I won't delve into). Ez pz
 
dmehosting.com has some very reliable windows vpses. I've used them in the past for some applications I have to run that are windows only.
