I even feel bad about kids killing lots of birds with bb guns. Kids don't have much clue so its the parents who should stop them from killing.

If you kill the primary bread earner of the bird family (the female bird) you most likely kill all of its chicks / hatchllings too coz there are no governments or orphanages in the animal kingdom.

Huntings cool but I think you should probably limit it to what you can eat or make some use of. What he was doing could have been as easily done with clays. However perhaps doves are a pest in that area destroying crops or something which is many times the case for hunts like that and in that case its fine. I had to double check the site though cause this sort of story is the sort of shit I expected was on HuffPo or something.

This sadistic fuck needs to play Duck Hunt and stop mass-murdering animals. Hunting for food in acceptable in my book because it is part of our nature as predators. This however shows a complete lack of respect. Video taping it makes it more of an abomination.
 
If this really is a cull and the birds are picked up afterwards for food then I don't really have a problem with it, but that's all speculation since we don't know if either is true. We have no idea where he is and those birds are falling into tall crops and finding their carcasses afterwards isn't going to be easy.

The part the bothers me is his maniacal laughter and that he and his brother were both caught poaching deer in Montana before. He's not a man of the land or a responsible hunter. He's a douchebag oil exec.

If indiscriminate shooting of bird bothers you guys you should get vocal about the annual illegal bird hunts in Malta which lies on the migratory path of many bird species between Europe and Africa. Every year hunters take to the fields and blast literally everything that flies form the skies, including the usual waterfowl, plus cranes, heron, highly endangered turtle doves, birds of prey like osprey, eagles, hawks, falcons, owls... everything. Often the bodies are simply discarded, hidden under rocks, whatever. It's human sickness on a massive scale and the Maltese government does little to stop it...
