SEO Value of Doc Sharing Sites?

[Charto911]

Wanted to get the opinion from others on what they think the value is from Document sharing websites like Docstoc, Scribd, Slideshare, Issuu, and so forth.

Has anybody seen great SERP movements from creating a doc sharing wheel?

[tnphoneman]

I use them as part of the wheel. I have had some docs out rank my site temporarily for easy keywords.

[Charto911]

do you use them strictly for your wheel or do you tie in web 2.0 properties with the doc sharing sites?

[dchuk]

the links are links, most of the sites aren't as heavily moderated as many web 2.0s...no reason not to use them
