SEO: What would you do with $25k ?



I'd buy grindstone and myself some really nice chainsaws and fly up to his place. We'd open a nice bottle of wine and start chopping down some really nice trees. Then break those up into perfect bits of fire word.

Then once we finished up, we'd head back to his house for some whiskey and cigars. We'd retire for the night.

Then I'd wake up in the middle of the night and steal all his computers and notes and fucking run.

Hey, if he REALLY wants to spend it then help him do it.


I have no idea what the Business is so, that means I have NO IDEA of what kind of SEO Strategy to suggest. Let alone HOW & WHERE to spend the his money.


SEO isn't exactly DEAD, but it it's kinda like using only 1 or 2 MFA sites to supplement your Verified and Active Million Plus Mailing list in comparison to ALL the other ways to be promoting a Business online these days.



Until the Beans are spilled on the type of business, I'm left with only one other suggestion to jump on the "Let's Flog EX-SEO Mike" Bandwagon going on n this thread.

1.) Take 10K of that money to setup an account for purchasing either BitCoin or LiteCoin for his business.

2.) Then take the other 15k and build a Mining Box.

3.) Start Mining and making some speculative purchases of BitCoin and LiteCoin.

The level of STUPIDITY and LACK of relevant and ESSENTIAL technical Data out on the net these days is APPAULING!!! (I thought that AM/IM had the Lion's Share of such absurdity on the Inter Webs.)



Intel has become like Google. (Taking over the market and gobbling up smaller once great companies that become BRAINLESS DRONES once assimilated.) Then they HIDE the information NEEDED to use their products correctly.

Asus has FIRED all Humans in their Tech support and put Parrots that read their WEBSITE INFO back to you, that you've already read yourself for yourself, in their place.

Even their Damn Motherboard Technical Project Engineer that "Hits The Road" to promote the newly released MB's is a FUCKING IDIOT!!!

That BASTARD wasted a WEEK of my Time and Life!! Telling Newegg in video product reviews and The Asus Youtube channel that the new P8Z77 WS MB will CERTAINLY SUPPORT EEC RAM just like ALL WS MB's from Asus have in the past.

Are Fucking Kidding me?!!!! I'm NO technical wizard by any means, but after tapping into my Inner Gay Webmaster, I sought out every Anal Orifice I could find on the net in order to QUICKER get to the data I needed.

The latest Chipset that will support ECC RAM is the DAMN Intel C216!!

None of the x77 Intel chipsets or BIOS on MB's that use them will support ECC RAM.....BUT....will support an IB Xeon.

WTF?!!! If you're NOT going to use ECC RAM you'd use a DAMN Plain ole i7 3770 since it has ALL the same VT features of the Xeon less the Flexible Memory instructions. (The i7 3770K has MOST of the VT instructions stripped out of it!!)

AND it's CHAEPER than the damn Xeon equivalent!!!


I'd better stop now, I have that VIEN THING POPPING out at BOTH temples again!!!

I think it's funny that you are hating on K-Noop, because this is exactly how you get "natural" links for white hat SEO.

It's 100% based on relationships. It's the reason I can get the ball rolling, because I have the relationships at big blogs, which gets the client and his/her content noticed. Then everyone else wants to get on board.



As for Mike, it really depends what niche they are in. To create a strategy with that kind of budget you need to do some planning, and I assume they want it all clean. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk some more specifics.

The classic wf option is to.


Make him 5 landing pages a month and blast them to the top with what ever the flavor of the month link package is. (right now pretty much anything with a pile of platforms and anchor diversity is fine)


But

Depending on the nature of the niche your best bet might be to pocket 5-10k and then spend the rest to

1. Hire yourself a 400$ a pop A list writer who is familiar with the niche to write up some seriously awesome content that given a bit of promotion will naturally attract links. (dont be afraid to be controversial) - Get 5-10 articles from him.

2. Get yourself 3 marketing interns from a local college. (1 for each semester (count summer as a semester)
If you offer a 3k a semester stipend and can spin things enough to impress a random marketing professor you will get the best kids they have.

3. Put interns to work having conversations with themselves in the comments section of your site + writing in a few filler articles + writing and submitting TONS of press releases promoting your A list writers as you drip it out over the year.

4. Have them spend the remaining time, interacting on social media, building out profiles on sites like merchant circle and grabbing your keyword real estate.

Don't worry about on page optimization beyond getting the target keywords in the title, making sure the sites not stupid slow and getting basic interlinking going. In your case its either voodoo or so marginal in value its not even worth thinking about.
 
10K for awesome content and all-over-internet presence - for real marketing, and 10K for pumper network - for SEO.
 
Assuming this doesn't include social

Get on top directory sites
Secure your kw real estate (knowem)

that is bare minimum

Get reputed sites in your niche to link to you (how???)

Then, any kind of real creative shit you can do to go viral and get natural links

However, if your client cares more about getting subscribers and not about long term survival of the site, then just make a bunch of sites, throw all kinds of link packages on to them and collect tons of subscribers
