Blacks were hated before there was even an American culture. We were hated because of economics. Free labor. In order to profit off of humans with a clear conscience, you have to dehumanize them.

When Blacks had 1000 Black owned banks after Reconstruction, they still hated us. When we had our little towns that were economic powerhouses we were still hated:

So when we were "civilized" we were still hated, so what was the excuse then? And when has American culture ever been civilized anyway? Ask the Native Americans if there was any civility while this nation was being formed. This ghetto culture that you speak of came into being during the 1970s, when crack cocaine flooded the communities and the morality levels went down, after all, that's what happens when you have entire communities where once upstanding men and women turn into crackheads.

Slavery was bad economics. First of all, it wasn't free labor because they had to house and clothe and feed them which is roughly about what it would cost if they had just paid them a low wage and let them house and clothe and feed themselves. If you don't believe me, think about what a person making minimum wage now can afford to do beyond the basic necessities. They may think they're free, but they're really just wage slaves.

And since they were slaves they had no incentive to work effectively or efficiently. Not only could they have gotten the work done for a similar cost, they could have gotten it done better by a happier workforce if they hadn't enslaved them. Therefore, not only was slavery bad morally, but it was bad economically too. So when you say "free labor", you're not understanding the economics of slavery - there was a cost to the labor and there was a loss due to inefficiencies.

I'm still not sure what this has to do with Serena Williams glorifying gangbangers but whatever.

Your comment implied that blacks showed up on US soil in 1970 with full rights, acted bad, and suddenly everyone started making fun of their lips. Basic history says that US blacks were more disliked back when others had total control over their actions, and the writings and drawings are more derogatory the closer we go back to that time.

Attitudes towards black Americans are better than ever, and "black culture" is more a part of overall US culture than ever. A black family is in the White House, Snoop Dogg (a former Crip) is on children's tv shows, white people buy the most rap albums, etc.

I watch a ton of tennis, got tennis channel, tennistv.com, play tennis a lot, so I know a lot about the ATP (mens) and WTA (women's tennis).

#1 - Who gives a fuck if she's dancing in some special way.
#2 - She's immature, much like Andy Roddick. Huge drama queens on court. I saw the match live when she threatened to shove a tennis racquet up a line judge's ass, simply for calling a foot fault.
