Should I get the Samsung Galaxy S3??

I have a S3 and it's amazing. If I were you I'd wait for the iphone 5 and go check it out yourself and see which one you prefer. I wouldn't focus that much on reviews because apple could release the biggest piece of shit and fanboys would still jizz over it, but I would def see if it's any good.

I am waiting for the Windows Phone 8 version of the Galaxy S3 (Focus S2), unless some better hardware running Windows Phone 8 comes out around the same time.

I'm not doubting that the iPhone 5 is going to be a nice device. But it's something about the experience of the Android OS that I like better all of the sudden... Maybe just needed a change from apple. I am sure I will test the iPhone 5 out but I cannot see past Andriod at the current time, it's just a better experience on a phone for me right now.

I heard iPhone 5 isn't going to be much of a game charger so I went ahead with S3, needed an Android phone anyways. No regrets

thanks for the responses. I have ordered an S3 and am "meant to get it" tomorrow. which I am not sure I can believe what the phone company said as they have mentioned that on past orders so I will see how it goes.

I ended up getting the 32GB option.. apparently it has 4G support which is pretty good as the telcos are meant to be deploying 4G here in the next 6 months.

I just got it.

Was at the store and dude was trying to help me choose between the S3 and the iPhone and or to wait for the iphone5 releasing in Sept. I haven't had a cell in almost 3 years and wow at the difference in tech since then. Happy with my S3 so far though it took a full day of youtubing to figure the thing out and to maximize the battery (it goes fucking quick if you don't optimize).

Most expensive phone I ever bought ($750 CAD, don't want the contract) but quite happy with it, I would get it.

Buying phones outright is a great move. Contract freedom + unlocked so much easier to roam with.

mattseh I do tend to agree with you however it is a business phone so it doesn't worry me so much about the contract side of things plus I do not travel out of the country.
