You know, I'll try to teach them a command in exchange for a treat, and they just won't have it. They just give me the evil eye as if to say, "fuck you, you patronizing cunt, you can keep your god damn treat, I'm going to go lay down", and they walk away from me. Honestly though, I find that pretty cool, and kudos to my dogs for doing it. I would react the same way if someone tried treating me like that.

So you know what? Fuck it. They're great boys, they know the difference between right and wrong, I have them on a good daily schedule, and we have our own little system going that works just fine. Good enough. They're my dogs -- not my obedient little servants.

How about you though? Do you let your dogs be themselves, or train them up to do little tricks for your pleasure?

Awesome looking dog dreamache.

According to everyone on Facebook, apparently today is National Dog's Day. Never knew that even existed until today. Pretty confident the dogs don't know it exists either.

Oh, that was yesterday? I guess us Canadians must be slow on the uptake, because just today everyone is popping up with "Happy National Dog's Day everyone!".

Oh, for fuck sakes...

I'm going to start a national Gerbil's Day, or something. We can make cute little cards, outfits, and gift baskets for the gerbils, and sell away.

My cat Whiskey who is the worlds most friendly party cat. She knows all of my neighbors, their schedules and greets them at their doorstep every day when they come home. Whenever there's a gathering of people she'll just walk into their house and hang out. I get calls about her constantly.

I think mont7071 should share his gigantic pet cat that he claims isnt his pet cat but in reality its his pet cat.
