My dad was German, mum was French, I was born and lived in Sardinia (see our flag under my name).
First language is Italian, then English, then about 10 more in various degrees, I know a word in almosnt every language, including about 100 words in japanese, some cantonese, arabic (palestinese more like) etc etc.
In the summer *I teach* english to Italians and French people in Montecarlo as a pastime..
My promise is that if you take my 2 hour daily lessons and don't learn to speak english in a month, you will get your money back!!!!
