Dude, that is old news. Sitepoint is whack. The admins are fucked up and retared and are just there for their own profit. They are not looking to actually take care of people who visit the forums.

When they do contests it is a joke too with contest holders just pulling out and deciding not to get the site from SP after all the submissions.

Yes, and they put signatures back up after taking them down because people were leaving their idiotic asses in the dust as I knew they would when I exposed Sitepoint and their cowardly administrators across the forum circuit.

Matt did not even have the balls to address the issues, but you see he enabled signatures again because I was right about their asses and their forum was heading down the tubes quick.

Just about every forum has a buy, sell and trade exchange now days, Sitepoint Marketplace is dead and many scams have been reported over there, some of you think it is great, but it is no better than any other forum, buyer beware is the main thing where ever you look at a deal.

There are scam artists selling portals with unlicensed scripts everyday.

Do you think Sitepoint makes sure these guys are not buying listings ?? :rasta:
 
That is not right. They should have not removed that information. It will only mean that someone that will not no how to do the research will end up spending much more than what they site is worth.
 
Yep, sitepoint is full of dumbasses. Specifically, dumbasses who offered me anywhere from 25k to 50k for my site that generates nearly 20k/month... Some kind of joke? Nope. Just idiots.

lol, I've sold a site for $14k that was averaging $300/mo income in the last 3 months. I love sitepoint!

The fact that their system puts buyers in the shitter is precisely why they have succeeded as a marketplace. It is the perfect place to sell, a real seller's market and buyers really have no power. All the sellers basically flock to it, and buyers really have no choice at all because all the best sites are sold there. DP's marketplace is basically overrun by shit.

This is exactly why I look for sites there though, well not exactly, I figure there has got to be at least one dumb ass seller out of them all and under bids his own shit, that I can steal from him, I know more then enough to avoid any scams that are around as well.
