My next gun will be an H&K nickel-plated .45 for carrying on my person. I dig my 9mm but I've always wanted an H&K.

Any of you guys have a CWP (concealed weapons permit)? I would think that in Texas they can be bought in gumball machines. I just had to go to an 8 hour class here in SC.

Now we just need a few jarheads(Marines) and some reps from the Air Force on the forums and we are golden.

I must confess, I used to want to start my own private army and to be honest it is the way of the future. Of course conscription and hiring guns has been and age old business but it will become a lot more common as our regular forces are stretched thin in the future and the worst shit is yet to come. Blackwater for example designs their own fucking armoured vehicles and are safeguarded against IEDs and .50 cal bullets. There is a huge disparity between a privatized army and our regular forces. Don't get me wrong though, our regulars still kick ass and take names but it takes more money and bueracratic bullshit to go through to supply our troops properly. Any help of this nature is fine by me.

Sidwindr,

US 0352 = TOW Gunner, USMC, fired wire guided missiles at tanks out of Humvees. Yeah, I made shit go boom!!

As far as Blackwater goes, same here. When I got out, I was looking into joining, wifey wasn't up for it. She was tired of being married to a Marine in the Infantry and new Blackwater wouldn't be any better. Although, I still think about it. and this is the TOW. :bowdown:tow7.jpg

Mike, here's what something like that does to a human body.

I;m sure many have seen this Afghan Sniper Video

HOLY SHIT!!!!! I knew it was powerful, but I didn't realize how much so! Pretty gross video, BTW. Especially the shot where half the shoulder and arm go flying. :repuke:

To everyone that was in the military: Thank you!

Most of my family was military, and I wanted to be. However, as a young child I was diagnosed with Asthma, and I couldn't get in because I didn't get some sort of waiver or something signed before a certain age. Can't remember exactly what the deal was, but regardless, I didn't make it.

Here's how hardcore military my family was:
Grandfather on mom's side: Command Sgt Major - Army. CSM of 101st Airmobile's Artillery Division in Vietnam. Served in Korea also.
Grandfather dad's side: Navy - Served WWII
Dad - Ret. Lt. Col - Air Force. Served in Vietnam as enlisted
Uncle - Sgt Major - Army - Ret., requested to be sent to Desert Storm, denied because he was too good at recruiting
Uncle - Col - Army - Ret.
Aunt - Lt. Col - Army - Ret.
Cousin - Enlisted - Army - Still Active

I'm very proud of my family and what they've done to serve our country. And it makes me proud to know people like you also.

God Bless America! :D

I said defense, not offense, obviously you wouldn't catch SWAT going in with pump action shotguns during a hostage situation.

Hostage takers would think twice about taking hostages if they did... "damn, they'll kill me and the hostages, they're fuckin' crazy"

And they wouldn't have these long drawn out hostage negotiations.

Id love to get my hands on a H&K USP 9...

Barret changed the way the sniper functions with its 50cal rifle, traditionally snipers use small rounds .302, .243...... Now we can saw a man in half from a mile or two away... good shit man!

Yeah, the TOW is really powerful, it has some really amazing sites too. You can be watching someone 2 miles away and they won't know it.

Im not sure of the differences between the M107 and the M82A1, but ive always been a fan of the M82A1..M82 Barrett rifle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yea, im only 19 and im Cali (Go you stupid fuckin gun hating soccer mom faggots) - Ill waiting on a hand gun but when I do hit 21 Id defnitely like a USP in the .45 variety... Im also a big Sprinfield fan...

I would love...love love to get my hands on an M1A, the new Socom editions are fuckin juicy - Not sure if I could decide on whether I wanted it in 308 or 30.06 though...

Yea it's pretty cool. Max effective range is 3750M, which is like 2.2 miles or some shit like that. But when you have something traveling around 730 mph, 3750m doesn't take long.
