I had a small but long time coming victory today I thought i'd share.
There's this advertisement newspaper in my town that gets delivered to everyone without consent or way to opt out every week. It's nothing but ads and they walk around throwing it at everyones door and yards. They literally just litter on your property with this garbage every week. It's particularly annoying at my office because they sneak in through the downstairs door and throw the papers up over the stairs to hit our doors. Which causes us to jump up thinking someone is trying to get in the door, perhaps with their hands full. They always run off as quickly as possible after they throw it at you. I'm assuming they get paid for every one they deliver.
One day they threw one in my yard and i grabbed it and walked it over to them and politely told them that I don't want it, am tired of cleaning it up every week, and its a waste of paper. The dude ran to his car and very rudely told me too bad then drove off. I swore on that day that some day my timing would be perfect and i'd huck it back at him.
Today I happened to be walking up the stairs and right as i cross by the door i see a paper fly by the window and hit it. Without hesitation I threw open the door, grabbed the paper and threw it back as hard as I could. She was in the street and turned from the sound of the door right as the paper whizzed within a foot of her face boomerang style!
She ran over and picked it up off the street behind her and jumped her car and drove off.
VICTORY!!!
I've never felt better in my life. Sorry if no one else has that in their town or has dealt with that frustration but it felt great getting that out after years of being annoyed by it so I had to share it.
