Small Entrepreneurial Ideas Thread

I read in the news a few weeks ago that the first nonprofit bar opened up in Portland. Only 4 paid staff including management. The rest including all materials and the building was done by volunteers. The alcohol is donated by local breweries as part of their annual charity donations. And when you order there's a separate menu on the wall of charities when you order your drink you get to pick a charity for the money to go too. It was on reddit but ill link to the article later. Pretty awesome idea!

Boyfriend or girlfriend wants to break up with girlfriend or boyfriend. Hires company that has male or female model, roofie her at bar and he would be easier, make out with him or her at bar, receive pics via smart phone, forward pics to now ex-GF or BF with a FU letter. Now your free.

Too late. They had activated charcoal underwear on Shark Tank one season for this very purpose.

They didn't get funded either.
 
Remember latest episode of Shark Tank, where that coat check guy turned down $200k?

That concept, but fingerprint technology. None of this touch screen where you have to enter your name, have a picture of both you and your coat taken, etc. Walk in, put your thumb on the reader, and hand over your coat. If possible, attach the check-in bill to your restaurant bill, and if not, just pay cash there.

Could go further, and use it for membership based services. Need to check-in at the gym? Maybe pay the bill at your favorite restaurant who already has your print & credit card on file?

To add to the drunk taxi idea, there is a business around my area that will pick you up when you are drunk and drive you and your car home for you, which allows you to not have to get a ride the next morning to pick up your car from wherever it was left. It's a two person team- one drives your car, while the other person drives a company vehicle. By putting up flyers in bars or anywhere else that serves alcohol you get decent business, and depending on the competition in the area, you can charge however much you want.

they used to have a service like that here as well but, instead of needing a 2nd driver/car to pickup the 1st driver that's dropping off the customer. all they did was give the 1st driver a foldable moped, they bring it with them and after they drop off the customer and car, they take out their moped, unfold it and take off.

Or else having a second driver/car will increase the cost of the service, because you're basically doing the same service 2x. Paying 2x as much for 2 employees, and then money spent on gas and normal wear/tear (to and back) on your own car just to pickup the driver.
