I've just used "My Network Places" in Windows, and it's worked for my needs. I will have to check out Filezilla now.

I use Flashfxp, i used to do everything with smartFTP until they chanced (fucked up) the GUI a while back, guess a lot a people wont be using smart FTP again.

cyberduck for os x, filezilla for windows...but flashFXP is the best ftp program i came across for any OS...also ftpRush is decent. but you need to pay for the last two.
