Found a great new show on Netflix called Scandal. This show is based on a real life DC "fixer" Judy smith.

Judy A. Smith (born October 27, 1958) is an American author, television producer, and crisis manager. She is known as the founder, president, and CEO of the crisis management firm, Smith & Company. Her work in crisis management is the inspiration for the ABC television series Scandal.[1][2]

Starting March 7, 1991, Smith served as Special Assistant and Deputy Press Secretary to President George H. W. Bush.[5] While there, she earned a reputation for being straightforward, honest and hard working.[1] She was reportedly instrumental in guiding the Bush administration through the controversies surrounding the nomination of Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court.[2] While working for the White House, she also helped navigate through other crises including the 1991 Gulf War and relations with Kuwait and the Iran–Contra affair.[citation needed]

After leaving the White House staff, Smith started Smith & Company, a consulting firm specializing in crisis management and media relations. Her firm has advised such notable people as Monica Lewinsky, actor Wesley Snipes,[6] and NFL quarterback Michael Vick.[1][2]

I am really trying hard to not jump to the conspiracy route. Have any you seen Season 2 episode 3? It basically lays the groundwork for the whole Snowden debacle.

Artie Hornbacher is a low-level data entry specialist for the NSA. He stole a program called “Thorngate” to prove that the government is spying on American citizens. There’s a good chance Artie is cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, but Olivia digs into his story just to be sure. As it turns out, the guy is legit. The team assembles in a safe house while Huck hacks into Thorngate. The program self-destructs moments after they see an unaware Cyrus chatting inside the White House. Big Brother really is watching. Everyone!

Harrison and Abby head off to track down a woman named Monica who was on the Thorngate development team. They need this lady to corroborate Artie’s story until Huck can hack into the NSA to get the program back. Too bad Monica is dead in her apartment from what looks to be a suicide. The black sedan parked outside suggests that maybe Artie isn’t paranoid enough. In other news, Olivia meets with a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Senator Edison Davis. These two have obviously known each other for many years. Edison warns Olivia to stay away from the NSA.

Does anyone find it strange that one of the most powerful "fixers" on the planet (and tied to the last 3 administrations) happens to produce an episode that closely parallels the snowden story? An episode that aired 6 months prior? Or maybe Snowden just happened to watch it and got the idea from the show. Either way this Judy Smith does nothing that doesn't have an end game.

Is this how mass manipulation really works? Or maybe it's just another crackpot conspiracy theory. Either way definitely check out Scandal its a great show.

This is another crackpot conspiracy theory. Why waste your time with this shit? Think about making money instead of pondering whether or not Snowden is a "false flag".

Focus on getting your EPC as high as possible instead of worrying about shit you have no control over. I personally think Snowden is genuine and not some kind of kind of carefully planned conspiracy to distract people.

Just watch the episode.

I didn't go looking for this. I simply stumbled upon it while watching a pretty damn good tv show. All I can say is the story line was so damn close, I thought the show was written and aired after the snowden revelations.
