So, Russia Invaded Ukraine

How do they know that this is Russian artillery? I mean, judging by the this image alone, it's not that easy (if not impossible) to tell.

Of course NATO has access to high quality satellite images. The one posted is just a composition for general understanding.

That's an image of the Ukrainian - Russian border with tanks heading to Ukraine across the border from the Russian side. That piece of the border is also controlled by the russian-sponsored terrorists.

As a long time player of RTS games, my advice to the Russians is to gather iron ore as quickly as possibly and build barracks. Do not rush into building research buildings and tank depots.

on a lighter note, here's a rap song recorded by the donbass terrorists:

I'm confused. If there's regions in Eastern Ukraine that want to separate, why not allow them to hold a referendum, and if is passes (ie. majority of residents / citizens vote for separation), allow them to separate? Otherwise if it doesn't pass, they stay part of Ukraine.

Why the need to label them as terrorists, and goto war?

No one labeled them as terrorists until they picked up russian-supplied weapons and started to kidnap and kill people, extort, etc. And then shot-down the plane with 280 something people. So much for "referendum" and "separation".

LOL, what an idiotic response.

Who did they kidnap and kill? And didnt youre ''protesters'' killed much more people when they where overthrowing Yanukovych?

@kiopa

You will never get a true answer to that question.

But mostly its because they are NATO puppets and they will do what obama order them.. Though notice that one side wants to blame Russians for literally everything, while the other calls them brothers and sisters.

What happened on Crimea?People set referendum date and then ukrainians wanted to stop that.So thats why people start to arm themselves.

Same shit started in eastern ukraine but then they called them terrorist with CNN help, so now they can bomb their own people. And Putin dont givea a fuck about that because that part of ukraine wont give him money as Crimea will.

And about that plane, funny how US government is suddenly quiet about all that... :)

In fact they did hold referendums which were completely ignored and called illegitimate by the international community. This was all before the fighting had broken out in the East, if the international community had actually supported independent referendums in the East, the major conflict would have never happened.

But the international community would never accept the decision of a province to succeed to Russia, even if they voted to in a legitimate referendum. In both the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts the separatists would have had a good chance of winning a legitimate independent and internationally monitored referendum.

Alright, let's bring 50,000 "ethnic" russians to Oklahoma and hold a "legitimate referendum"... why not?

39% of the residents of the Luhansk Oblast are ethnic Russians (2001 census), while 70% of Luhansk residents speak something other than Ukrainian as a first language (2001 census).

38.2% of the residents of the Donetsk Oblast are ethnic Russians (2001 census), while a total of 75.9% of Donetstk residents speak something other than Ukrainian as a first language (2001 census).

In the 2012 elections the Party of the Regions a pro-Russia and Russophone party won, 57% and 65% of the vote in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

So to say that the population at large has no leanings towards Russia/Russian unification is ridiculous.

What do you do when someone invades your country? Either they withdraw or get killed. It has come to this point right now.

No one invaded it you fool. They are all local people from eastern ukraine.Russians helped them, thats true, but 90% of those pro-russian army are ukrainians.

Again, those guys did not come to that land, they have been there for centuries.Their family roots are from Donetsk and Luhansk region.

Solution is simple, let people decide in what country they want to live, and stop killing them cause they dont want NATO puppet for government.
