I'm married and still pay a shit load of taxes. About the same actually.
I say we make it fair, have everybody pay taxes - Flat rate (I agree with that). Broke or Rich.
On top of that over 90% millionaires are married. So dont think the singles or the fags are caring this county when it comes to paying taxes.
Family is good and a very productive part of our society. Not to think so is just foolish.

As for validation just the idea that you have to bring it up as the "sneaky" thing that they're after, cracks me up because it indicates that they don't have it in the first place. Validation for what, exactly, hellblazer? Being a human being? You act like these people have to pass your standards for existence in order to "validated". While I shiver at the thought of whatever that might be, the fact is THEY DON'T. Why? Because they are already American Citizens whether you like them or not, and therefore when the moral majority continues to demand that they should be ignored and inviable on account of their own bigotries and fears, then as a American citizens, ourselves, we should all be concerned.

It's called having beliefs. Your belief is that it is perfectly fine for 2 men or 2 women to be married, but obviously not everyone believes that is true.

I personally do believe that they are looking for validation. Why else would they have to cram their beliefs down everyone elses throat and try to make a society that largely believes that a marriage is supposed to be between a man and a woman somehow alright with 2 people of the same sex getting married.

Nobody says that they can't fuck, nobody says that they can't live together, but why do they have to somehow change the definition of what marriage is?
