ontopic: anyone having problems playing SC2 on Windows 7 x64?

I've played the version off torrents no problems before, but now that I've downloaded the official beta game, it crashes right after loading (when the yellow thingy bar is full).

I've googled the hell out of this issue (all sorts of mixed queries) but no relevant stuff came up.

Anyone? :)

works fine on my win 7 64 bit. 0 crashes or problems

i support sc2 because as awesome as im sure it is, it will keep my competition down for the next few months.
 
Quick question, if you register for the sc2 beta with a user name, do you keep that username when the full game comes out?

Also, why does everyone have a . in their name?

EDIT: if you spend $100 on pre-orders at Gamestop you can get 25% off your bill with code 25OFF. SC2 and Halo Reach for $89.98. The Halo Reach beta comes out on Monday, btw. Its free if you have ODST
 
UPDATE: Coupon above doesn't allow you to use in-store pickup. So if you want the games the days that they come out youre going to have to pay the $10 overnight shipping on each and still probably wont get it as fast as if you just preordered for instore pickup.
