It seems like Obama has worked on his stuttering problem. His speeches always used to contain a ridiculous amount of "Uhh..." in them. Unless he just does it when he doesn't have a teleprompter, but I think he used to do it even with the teleprompter.

Was that not the exact same speech of promises he gave before he was elected? I swear I saw no difference.

There was more contradictory bullshit in that speech, it was insane.

"Reduce and eradicate illegal immigration - we have more boots on ground at the borders than ever - this will allow for more American jobs"...then speaks to how immigrants already here should be allowed to stay and not live in fear of deportation.

"Detroit is doing awesome, the American auto industry is back on top, GM is doing awesome, and we'll see cars from Detroit in Seoul"....then speaks to how we need to greatly reduce dependence on foreign oil and concentrate on natural gas (is this ironic?)

"Republicans and Democrats need to come together and work as one unit for the betterment of America"....all while taking pot-shots at the Republican Congress and prior administration.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not pro-republican or democrat, as I don't have faith in any of 'em. But is nobody recognizing this double-talk?

Oh...and all these awesome programs and training he wants to institute....how are these gonna get paid for again?
 
I stopped watching the State of the Union a while ago. If you think regular presidential speeches are filled with bullshit, the State of the Union is 10x worse and overflowing with empty promises and overoptimism.
 
"fair share" is one of my biggest pet peeves. What is this mythical and entirely subjective "fair share" that applies to both what some people should earn and what some should pay in taxes?

Fucking dick, hes a liar and should be taken down.

American cars, while the parts are made in mexico (ford), and china for many others. Foreign dependence needs to stop or minimize dramatically imo.

Stupid people should not be allowed to vote. Voting should be allowed only for the intelligent people -- and if not that, voting should be obolished and only the selected few whom have 'our best interest in mind' should be the ones making decisions. I believe this is already the case, I dont believe voting exists. Its just a false illusion to give us the sense of having an equal word. The powers that be pre-determined our fates while they remain in office. Do we really think the masses voted for obama?

Don't get me wrong - I'm not pro-republican or democrat, as I don't have faith in any of 'em. But is nobody recognizing this double-talk? Your not the only one. Quit watching it and giving him ratings?.
