Remember this douche bag on fema?

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-6UxncNnqI"]Ron Paul an idiot - Governor Dannel Malloy - YouTube[/ame]

Short version: he trash talks ron paul hard for calling fema a worthless expensive bureaucracy that doesn't provide much help and leaves the victims with the bill. Then as it turned out fema showed up way too late and he ended up getting no real help from them anyway despite his flamboyant pity party.

He better check his mailbox regularly :)

Katrina victims fight FEMA debts

I have a feeling his constituents are up and coming ron paul supports in the near future.

Is that to say you think FEMA is worthless in the sense of the service it's supposed to provide/the purpose it's supposed to serve? Or that FEMA is inefficient in fulfilling those tasks?

From my personal point of view... I'm leaning towards the conclusion that the US is pretty much run by the companies profiting from war... and hence when people throw around figures like 'we're spending x billion a week on the war so y million a week for abc campaign isn't an issue' then I can't help but think that... 'well yeah, logically it shouldn't be an issue... but when you take it from the perspective of who is *really* pulling the strings.... why the fuck would they want to allow more tax dollars to be re-allocated towards things that do not increase their overall war profit strategy'... of course I could be totally off
