After a year in the game, I have started to really earn some real cash, which is the best feeling in the world. Here's my story.

I was introduced to affiliate marketing in early 2007 when I stumbled across Wealthy Affiliate. It looked promising, so I signed up @ $29.99. I read everything there, and got the basic concept of affiliate marketing. I set up a few campaigns with Adwords, and Clickbank and failed miserably. I lost around $100, and got extremely discouraged, and decided to give up.

I then found DP.

The next 3 - 4 months I spent reading DP, and buying every promising e-book, to be upset every single time because I was reading the same shit in every one. I made a few proxies, and flipped em, made a few bucks, but nothing special.

I felt like shit knowing all these fucking 'gurus' were making so much damn money selling their shitty shit.

In July I finally found a way to make some cash. I made about $20k in 3 months promoting some stuff in a very unethical way. I did not feel good about this money.

In August I found WF, but didn't end up registering till around December, I think.

I noticed a lot of people were making an huge amount of cash, every single day. I decided to take on PPC again with all the money I had made.

Ever since January I have been aggressively testing PPC. I failed many times, and found 2 profitable campaigns that have been running on auto for about 2 months providing me with around $3k profit a month.

Last month I decided to try something; break into a highly competitive niche. I found an offer, and some highly competitive, and highly searched keywords. I set a budget of $50 a day, with a $4 CPC, to achieve the 3rd position. I went to bed.

I woke up to check my stats and I had produced over $300 in revenue, I was stoked. I upped my budget, CPC, expanded keywords, and took keywords out that were not performing.

This campaign now makes me $X,XXX every day. I had finally found success.

To all the newbies reading this, this is what I learned in the past year.

- Don't waste your time buying ebooks
- Don't waste your time surfing DP
- Persistence pays off, big time
- Know in your mind that you will succeed, and you will
- Don't be afraid to spend money
- Don't give up

I know I love reading people's stories, they inspire me, so I thought I'd share mine. This post is only for inspiration, nothing more, nothing less.

Best to all of you, fuckers.

Congrats. I went through my tipping point not to long ago and it's a great feeling.

Make sure you work on setting up an S-Corp for tax reasons now you're making the big bucks.

if you make over 2,739 a day then you'll gross 1 million by the end of the year.

Congrats, Proxy.
A nice story. No pathetic moral, no wet works...

Normally, I find success stories insipid... Here, they're not so bad, because they're not coming from douches that want you to buy their ebook :D

It's like I say, the only ebooks that are worth the money are the ones that are story fiction ;)

Congrats dude. I am happy for you. Truely inspiring to be making 5 figures per day. After reading many posts on this forum, it seems alot of profit is made through sending PPC traffic rather than SEO traffic to campaigns. Am I right or do you're experience differ?

Congratulations on your success! I love reading success stories, they motivate me. I lost about 1500$ of hard earned cash on projects and money-making campaigns in the past year and I still don't make money. It sucks to be me.

nice and congrats...

kinda makes me want to branch out from media buys and start playing with PPC again... think I will actually...

Traffic is traffic imo. However, affiliates have a habit of optimizing for on page conversion more than SEOs. Believe me, certain keywords can create a significant profit. a VERY significant profit.

Great story. Everyone can benefit from it. I took it as a queue to keep moving in different directions, even if you're successful in the one you're in. Diversify, diversify, diversify.

True. I think large amounts of profit is made in PPC because of instant traffic (unlimited once value of the visit > cpc). While SEO requires alot of time to generate compared to ppc. It seems I need to move out into ppc. Man, I am in my comfort zone.
