This whole "the wire is on its way" or "the check is in the mail" is getting to be a recurring thing that seems to be popping up in threads almost daily now about affiliate networks, both reputable and non-reputable.
People can snicker and make cracks about Clickbank all they want but the fact of the matter remains that I make a damn good living from CB and have for several years and have always gotten paid on time, the right amount, every time.
I'm certainly not bashing all (or even any) affiliate networks but I think this whole fiasco goes to show just how precarious the balance is between advertisers, networks, and publishers and how easily it can topple and how far-reaching the consequences are.

On a serious note the fact that Mike isn't in here doing damage control speaks volumes in regards to how much he cares about affiliates (when things get a little tight).

I have actually been in contact with each of the pubs in this thread who have not been paid. Those still posting are mostly railbirds, in for the drama.
Anyone who hasn't been in contact with me please reach out.
That's hardly a fair assessment. Sure, people are intrigued by threads like these but it's not just for the "drama" - it's because most - if not all - posters' livelihoods depend on networks paying in order to make it to the next month. So naturally, they want to know if they're going to be the next pub to wait 5 or more weeks to get paid even if they were supposedly on weeklies before. Particularly by a network that was always quick to point out how "quality" and "reputable" they are and quick to point out to posters that they should avoid "unreputable" networks.
I realize that Copeac is probably in a tough spot right now, but you lashing out to other posters just because they're interested in what's going on is pretty lame - particularly for someone that used to jump on threads that even hinted at the name Copeac in a split second only to go days at a time without doing damage control in this one.
But hey, what do I know? I'm only "in for the drama."
