Suck a Dick Vivera/Opes/Mike/Mitch/DEE

I got a laugh when I went to Deecash.com and saw "Webmasters: Promote Our Sites and Feel the Power of Rebills"

Thank you, come again!

Still? Jesus.

So let me get this straight...

Copeac owes publisher ~20k; 10k for leads to the bum advertiser and ~10k for totally unrelated leads.

Publisher is on weeklies.

Since Copeac hasn't received payment for leads from bum advertiser, they refuse to pay publisher the entire ~$20k until publisher went public with all of this. Then they finally paid the unrelated ~$10k. 3 or 4 weeks after it was due.

Now Copeac has promised time and again that they will pay out when they receive wire...a wire that's been promised for nearly a month or so?

If that's not totally correct, unless I'm terribly mistaken it's damn close.

I think the initial lack of communication from the network would steam me more than anything else...ESPECIALLY concerning the ~10k or so that was totally unrelated to this fiasco.

But hey, there are three sides to every story however with the severe lack of communication, the stonewalling by AMs, and everything else, this thing has gotten nasty.

I think at the end of the day it all boils down to everything Jon said in his post: greed by everyone all around. And since shit rolls down hill, its the publishers that suffer the most. I have a feeling this will only get worse as networks and publishers continue to scramble to turn up something...anything...as lucrative as the rebills had been...and continue to (mostly) come up short.

Edit: I want to make sure that I point out that I'm not attacking anyone and I definitely believe that Copeac deserves the reputation they have enjoyed, but I do believe that all this definitely could have been handled much better with more communication.

So has anyone that was on so-called "week(lies)" have been paid yet? Even if affiliates on here that don't have skin in the game. Better step up cause this will affect all affiliates sooner or later. If we let networks get away with this Bullshit we are digging our own grave. I'm ready to boycott any network that doesn't pay on time. Maybe there really should be an affiliate Union. This Shit shouldn't fly. We are talking about affiliates buying advertising looking at there stats and seeing conversions, then not getting paid on that agreement total garbage. What makes you think the CPA Networks wont stop here? Any time on any offer they can just say oops advertiser hasn't paid yet sorry. If you are a Network that doesn't pay then affiliates shouldn't run any of your offers zero zip zilch. Maybe that's the only way Networks can get it through their heads. A total Boycott on those Networks. Pay your Freakin affiliates like you agreed. Don't make excuses you and don't pass it onto the affiliates that makes you just as shady as the advertisers.

Stop sending traffic to the bum advertisers.
There is no accountability in the industry.
This is silly.

Affiliaties should be paid ON TIME every week regardless if the advertiser pays the network or not. It is the networks job to maintain a relationship with the advertiser, this is why the networks take their cut right?

If shit hits the fan it is totally the network's fault. Pay your affiliates on time and next time don't make stupid business decisions.

So when you say this I hope you mean stop sending traffic to bum CPA Networks. Its the Networks responsibility to handle the advertisers not the affiliates. The accountability is on the Networks to pay their affiliates in this matter.

Ideally, yes. But how long are affiliates going to sit there and continue get pounded.

I agree with you it is on the networks but this is not holding true currently.

The affiliates must start to make changes on their own end.

It can be applied both ways. The networks should stop sending traffic to the bum advertisers and affiliates should stop sending traffic to the networks that pull this stuff.

If I don't pay my bill at a restaurant does that make it right for the restaurant not to pay their light bill? No. An agreement was reached beforehand between the restaurant owner and the electric company and a service was rendered with payment expected. Me not paying my bill would certainly help impede the restaurant's ability to pay the light bill, but does nothing to negate the restaurant's responsibility to pay it.

I realize the disproportionate nature of the scenario is extreme, but the principle behind it still applies.

Basically, Copeac is reneging on a contract with the publisher which is no different than any other debtor not making good on its debts.

Their credibility that took years to build up and maintain is now going to suffer. And rightfully so.

Dare Devil summed it up nicely. Ya I agree Affiliates need to stop running with these Networks cause they just showed their true colors. Someone should set up a Network Boycott thread listing which Networks aren't paying during this time.

Just bumping this with an update that my April balance of $xx,xxx hit my account today.

Its May 18th were you on week(lies)? So you got paid for April did you run any traffic for May?
Has everyone been paid on time from CX?

Good friends in good places warned me about these before I wasted all my time and resources. Yet, the most networks keep sending these as the most profitable offers to run???!!! I would think maybe they don't eat as much as they say they eat. (I'm a noob, so hope I am not out of line giving an opinion so early in my WickedFire life)

I'm supposed to be on "weeklies". I guess I'm on the 6-week plan because that's how often I've been paid the past few months. Stopped traffic to opes offers a couple weeks ago and haven't run anything to them since.
