Supreme Court slowly killing 'Obamacare'



They're completely different matters: federal gov't power vs. state gov't power. The only people I know that overwhelmingly drive w/o insurance in Cali are illegal aliens and blacks. I used to sell car insurance near the hood, so I have lots of experience with the latter.
 
You can also choose not to drive. You can't choose not to live. Well, hmmm.......

They really are different things. If you'd like to ride a bike all day there is no need to purchase auto insurance, but waking up in the morning is not optional.

You can also drive without car insurance by using a surety bond.

Um, I hope that wasn't supposed to be a suggestion to the Congress/POTUS/SCOTUS... You do realize that forcing the 'average consumer' to pay for insurance is the entire point of obamacare, right? Without that, there is nothing tying the bill together at all.

Obamacare is an obamination, if you'll pardon the pun. It Mandates us all to pay EVEN MORE money each month than we already do in taxes.

Obomba argues that we are already paying thru taxes for the deadbeats that don't pay their hospital bills now... But does this mean we'll get taxed less if we use our insurance? Fuck no. It's DOUBLE TAXATION.

And you guys know exactly how I feel about the lack of freedom this creates.

Obamacare must be killed with fire. I don't expect the SCOTUS to do it though; they always attack hard at first and then back off... Sometimes flip-flopping like Romney during their deliberations.

lack of freedom? are you serious? Obamacare makes you a free person because now you can actually get health insurance without having to worry about paying for health care and putting food on the table.


health care should be one of the basic liberties that we should have to stress over and to say other wise is cruel and inhumane.

We should take care of the our own. We wouldn't have to pay twice the taxation if the wealth 1% would just pay their fair share. but no they "deserve" to have a better life than the rest of us at our own expense it absolutely embarrassing that the wealthy elite would behave in such a manner.

You act as if the governments EXISTING regulations in the healthcare industry were removed then it would not be even cheaper to get health insurance than through obamacare.

The problem is in the existing regulations that stops the real free market from appearing in the Healthcare industry.

Instead of repealing laws though, congress and the POTUS only want to add MOAR laws to the already fucked-up system and this is the result.
 
luke you have been hoodwinked by jedi magic or something the government is the only one who can distribute something like this fairly we have already seen what free markets can do. now it's time to see what the government can do to alleviate the burden of the people
