The Amazing Ghost Cities Of China

If I were Chinese I'd be so offended by these latest links popping up in here... You guys are basically giving props to the concept that Chinese Government is planning to wipe out the USA this century with bio-weapons and then invade us, killing the rest with guns, and then taking our land to use as their own. (!)

Sounds a bit like accusing China of being far worse than Hitler. Fear-monger much?

What I find Ironic is that this thread is about EMPTY cities, yet these hate links you've posted are talking about how China will invade the US because their land can't be sustained due to the overflowing population...

Can't have it both ways, racists.

You sound like a naive retard. "Hate links"? "Offended"? If you don't like them, don't read them.

Have you ever read Chi Haotian's speech "War is the midwife of the 21st Century"? If you did, you'd know that the people that rule China ARE worse than Hitler. If you read ClearWisdom.net and saw what they've done to their own people, you'd know that they ARE absolutely insane people. You honestly sound like a fucking ignorant retard.

You think I give a fuck if the Chinese Communist Party's feelings are hurt? STFU, bitch.

It is not the Chinese people who are at issue here. It is the PRC and PLA. They do not represent the Chinese people. China is a Communist dictatorship - we should not forget this.

If you think that graph is a true representation, you're dead wrong. People have estimated China's true military budget at 3 or 4 times what they say. Not to mention it's not necessarily how much they spend, but what they're spending it on: satellite killers and aircraft-killing diesel submarines.

Our budget doesn't mean shit if they destroy our carriers with subs we can't hear and kill our all-seeing satellites. Suddenly we can't defend Taiwan for shit and we can't see shit with out sats. And that's not even taking into account the damage they could do with their huge cyber-army or a possible financial attack.

Totally agree.

A good proportion of the military spend in the US I'm sure can be attributed to:

A) Porkbarrel spending. Whilst studying for my degree I was researching a niche field of solid-state physics, and was amazed at how many researchers and facilities appeared to be funded as pet interests of minor politicians through military channels. I'd wager that much of this type of spending is simply recorded as something else in Europe.

B) Insane pseudo-private single-bid contracts, or else large scale projects to the likes of Boeing and Lockheed Martin designed to prop up votes and industrial interests. In these cases free-market efficiencies have at best, broken down or at worst, been subverted by thinly-veiled corruption.

C) On supporting outdated tactics or out of proportion with the apparent threat. E.g is China likely to go to toe-to-toe in a naval conflict? Unlikely, so is it necessary to support several blue water fleets when counter-biological measures could be more commensurate with the risk.

Not to say of course that the US isn't still far and away the most powerful military on Earth right now. It's just a question of whether it's flexible enough to respond to the threats that are being posed.

In the meantime China's arms exhibit at the last international arms show had huge displays of their new carrier killer missiles attacking a US carrier group. Nice... real "harmonious and peaceful" intentions.

hellblazer parranoid much???
So have they identified that Chinese missile off the coast of LA from few months ago yet LOL

Linklover, since carriers are generally used away from your own territory you are more likely than not attacking someone else rather than defending your own territory so if someone uses force against those same carriers they are most likely defending themselves...

Does anyone actually have any info on these "empty" cities with cars and speedboats or you'll all just keep going on about the Chinese invasion???

I couldn't agree with this fact more. It certainly isn't the 1.34 Billion People that we should be afraid of; just a couple of hundred right-wing radicals in the government...

Radicals who have no means whatsoever to move the 1.34 billion citizens there to pick up a gun and kill for them... The citizens don't like the radicals any more than you like Fidel Castro.... And Castro lives a LOT closer to you than those radicals live near the average Chinaman.

But they do control many nukes, nuke technology, rare earth metals and bio labs where they cook up all sorts of interesting highly infectious and lethal pathogens.

And as food prices climb for the 1.5 billion common folk who have a hard enough time feeding their families now, they will become very angry with their gov. They remember TS. When TPTB get nervous, watch out.

Don't know but looks like shit is getting real. South looks determined to go ahead and if they do north will end up looking like pussies if they do nothing, and we all know that's the last thing they want...

North Korea has moved additional big guns to the west coast. They've taken their jets out of the hangers and have threatened nuking SK and the US if SK holds the drill.

SK just said they are doing the drill on Monday. It's monday morning in korea.

South Korea island residents told to move to bunkers - Yahoo! News

YEONPYEONG, South Korea (Reuters) – South Korean marines have ordered residents of Yeonpyeong island to move to air raid bunkers in anticipation of a live-fire drill on Monday.
North Korea has threatened to strike if the South went ahead with the drill from the island off the Korean peninsula's west coast and in disputed waters between the rival Koreas.

So he has no idea what it was and says that a Government agency would know for sure, and you consider this proof? Just wasted 5 minutes reading that crap...

No, he says it was clearly a Chinese missile and he used to run fucking NORAD. Now shut the fuck up.

He thinks it was and has no proof, and just because he ran the thing makes him credible? You had a fucking president who said Sadam had weapons of mass destruction, that turned out to be true as well...

HB just wanted to expose our eyeballs to that mega-right-wing blog he worships... He thinks it will make us all more like him. :anon.sml:

So we shouldn't be humoring him... Let's go talk about it more over on this thread...
