The Beer Thread- What do You Drink?

Mostly Carlsberg cos it's only 4% and I like to drink a lot (as in take in a lot of fluid - counteracts the excessive smoking!) so 10 500ml/pint (ish) cans of them go down nicely in an evening.

If I'm out and have a choice I do like Carib and love Singha (Thai beer). Carlsberg Export is good too (the Danes are definitely doing it right for me) and I'm also partial to the odd pint of Guinness every now and then.

Waaay too many to list but these are my favs.

Ales: Redhook, Hales Ale, Kilt Lifter, Mirror Pond, Snow Cap Ale

Stouts/Porters: Black Butte Porter, Obsidian Stout (anything by Deschutes Brewery in Oregon is tasty)

Mexican: Pacifico, Corona

Shit beer: PBR, Miller, Budlite, milwaukee's best

Energy beer: Sparks, Tilt

IBC Root Beer. I get 6 cases of 24 packs in each case every 2-3 months, delivered. I'm spoiled like that.

On tap: Carlton Draught, Tooheys New
Bottle: Tooheys Extra Dry, also the Platinum version (6.5% alc.)
Imported: Not a fan but would be Heineken.

Can't beat Australian beers :)

I've been drinking Yuengling for years. We used to get that and Rolling Rock dirt cheap when we lived back in PA.

Lately, I've been getting Molson Canadian. Its one of the best tasting, and it gives you a buzz after just a few.

sam summer, yuenglueng, black and tans, and of course, the best light beer for when you feel like drinking 20 beers... BUSCH LIGHT!!

(how has it not gotten one mention? it is way better than any of the big 3)

In the pub: Guinness or whatever real ale is available. Carling if its going to be a long night.

At home: Guinness or Stella Artois or Red Stripe

oh ya what about sam adams triple bock or molson triple x... pound a six pack for a quick buzz. back when i was hurting i would buy 2 40 oz. of Steel Reserve and pound 'em. that is equal to about a 12 pack of bud (4.8 %) i believe.
