If I remember correctly, you weren't aware of the nations in Africa that have relatively high incomes, the high income black areas of Chicago, etc., so I doubt you've actually spent much time studying various cultures.
White incomes, IQ levels, crime rates and whatever else can vary greatly from nation to nation. They can also differ within nations, such as with whites in the south USA vs. north. Not just that, but from town to town, and even neighborhood to neighborhood.
You mention Asians and your views towards them seem to be based on Asian Americans or Japan, which is only a small percent of Asians. The average income in Japan might be $35,000, but next door in the Philippines it is $3,500 and it is less in other Asian countries.

South Korea = $30,000
These two are of the same bloodlines, as Korea has only been divided for whatever number of years. This can be thought of as a large scale experiment of how the "same" people can end up in vastly different environments because of factors that have nothing to do with their shade of skin.

I think your point goes to prove that there is such a thing as "good" racism.
I'm not going to claim that Dresden's life choices are justified, but when you drive through one of the really bad parts of town late at night, let's just say that the racism gene that served your ancestors well is still helping you more than hurting you today in that situation.
I do hope a day comes when it is 100% behind us, but first we need far more education and interbreeding. The internet has boosted the speed of both of those things by a factor of 10 at least, so it's conceivable that before the end of somebody's lifetime on this forum they could see a world where only the outcast loonies are still racist at all against other actual races.
As for the people who choose to be in lower classes, like burger-flippers whose highest goal in life is to buy the next XBox or do some more crack, I'm ALL for "racism" against those skinwastes. I believe 9 of the bottom 16 are former Soviet countries. Russia has the second highest amount of white people, but apparently the quality of life is higher in places like Botswana and Uganda.
I've worked with many of the lower class types. The biggest problem I've found effecting them is generational welfare. Many are in the mindset that you should just have a bunch of kids, get on as many government benefits as you can and live on the dole. In years gone by, this was never ever a possibility.
My town is 95% to 98% white, and we still have neighborhoods that are pretty terrible. The two leading factors in those areas are government subsidies and drugs.
