The Dawn of Web 3.0

I agree that the terms "web 2.0" or "web 3.0" are just that.. marketing hype.

But the ideas are valid, so what will web3 be?

My idea is for an ultra-tageted mobile web. Location, history, preferences.

a single, worldwide internet membership account is the future. ie, an account you can log onto any site with. such an awesome idea, scary too, but maybe not so scary once people learn to not put important personal info online. this is what facebook connect aims to become. would be kinda cool to see google do it too.

augmented reality is the distant future. who knows how that will tie in with the internet and what kind of revolution it will cause.
