the NFL draft

What makes you think that pre-Madonna (Cutler) is going to be good this year? Are Bears fans really that delusional? Do they want a good quarterback sooooo bad that they can convince themselves that this guy isn't a hack?

He's a hack. He'll continue to be a whiny little bitch of a hack.

His numbers tell you everything. Over the last three seasons his Pass Completion %, and QB Rating are down every year. Also his TD to INT ratio has increased every year (last year he was nearly 1:1).

Yeah, yeah, lay it on me. I'm ready to hear the excuses. "He doesn't have anyone to throw to."

Oh OK. Standing by that logic and the fact they had to make moves in free agency because they have dick for draft picks, who did they get that he can "throw to"? The answer: no one.

Ah have fun in 3rd spot in the division again this year Bears fans (assuming Favre is coming back).

I was really disappointed until I got to the bottom of the page. I saw your comment earlier and thought for sure you would have something nasty to say about the Bears and thought you left it alone.

Mike Martz is going to make all the difference in the world. Wait and see. Ron Turner couldn't gameplan his way out of a wet paper bag. Every QB under RT has looked the same. Griese. Grossman. Orton, until he shortened the leash and let the defense take care of business.

Say what you want, but Cutler is one of the most physically gifted QBs in the league IMHO. Our receivers are green, but the talent is there. On top of that, if healthy, our front 7 could be very very good. Peppers, Tommie Harris, Lance Briggs, Urlacher to mention the obvious. Go ahead and resurface this thread in the season and call me out on these predictions. 10-6 and it comes down to the wire between you and us. Fuck the Vikings.

The Eagles are poised to have one the best drafts in team history, and they better.

With 3 picks in the top 55 plus the first pick on day 2 and day 3.

Rumors going around that Philly wants to trade up for DE Jason Pierre-Paul. Oakland has interest in him as well. If I know Philly this is just ploy to get him off the board so Philly can get the guy they really want.

To quote Johnny Cash - A Boy Named Suh.

Gotta get somebody to keep Stafford on his feet, I hope they trade down to 4,5 or 6 and grab Okung plus pick up another 2nd/3rd rounder. Too many holes.

You can't deny the offense got remarkably better under his direction. Hell, he made Roy Williams look like an NFL WR, allowing us to rape the Cowboys in that trade 2 years ago.

All that being said, if we end up with Suh, I'm cool with it.

Offense wasn't great, but defense was horrible so you gotta fix the worst parts of the team first in my opinion. Especially with a dominant force like Suh falling into your hands. Suh is considered to be the best DT to come out since Sapp, whereas Okung is considered just the best of a mediocre class of OL's. Besides, they picked up a top 10 rated LG in Simms and they seem happy with Backus at LT so the Okung thing isn't going to happen.

A dominant DT that blows the line up makes the other 10 guys on defense all look better. It's a high value pick.

Oh believe me, it will resurface. I was saying how bad of a trade it was in the first place (I'm sure I could dig up the thread). I've always realized he's a hack. I don't care how physically gifted he may be, he's just not a good quarterback. You can't change that. If you can't make good reads, and deliver the ball in a smart fashion it really doesn't matter how hard you can throw it.

Since my suffering can't be constrained to one team, and because of geographic influences, I'm a Seahawks fan as well, trust me on this: Ray Willis sucks donkey balls. He's not the answer for any question that doesn't ask "Who just allowed that interior penetration?"

And Backus allowed the most sacks of any LT in the league last year. Thusly, Stafford got the shit kicked out of him. Hope they got somebody in the 3rd round they like if they don't grab Okung.

I agree with everything else, Suh is a manbeast and will dramatically improve the D.

And Backus allowed the most sacks of any LT in the league last year.

That's a common misconception. Despite being pretty shitty for most of his career, last year Backus allowed 8 sacks in 16 games and was ranked 12th best tackle in the league. Far from great, but not the worst in the league. I want to see them replace Backus soon, but for now I gotta say D needs to be the priority and Stafford needs to get the ball into the hands of his weapons a little sooner. Either way, we'll find out here shortly.

Suh! Suh! Suh! It's about to get nasty in the NFC North. Watch the hit at 2:00 in. 3,200 lbs of force on that hit:

Suh is a monster. Lions got a good pick there. The way he threw people around this year was just crazy.

Fuckin Browns got Haden like I thought they would. No bid deal as long as the Niners don't take Wilson. Steelers need so much help at CB, especially if Troy goes down for any amount of time.

Every time Mel Kiper opens his mouth I want to shoot my fucking TV. One of the most, if not the most, annoying "analyst" on ESPN.

if anyone's a dolphin fan...you're welcome from san diego...

TO SD: #12, #110, #173
To Mia: #28, #40, #126 and Tim Dobbins

what a fucking steal.

donkies get tim tebow LOL

mcdaniels is running that team to the ground...let's marshall basically walk...i think top 3 best wr last year and he picks up a white version of michael vick. dude won't last half the season in the nfl. thank you donkies...

with ryan mathews and the donkies pick...this just made my DAY!!!!

If Kyle Wilson is still there at #34 he's a Lion.

Agreed. McDaniels is a fucking idiot.

Suh is a monster. Great pick (not that it was that hard to pick the guy) by the Lions.

Packers got the OT they desperately need. Finally they drafted how they where suppose to!
