The Russian Equiv. of WickedFire? ;)

Well I only want to be able to read it and possibly type/write it :) Can't be too hard!
its easy to learn to read cyrillic. took me about a month to memorize all the characters. just review them when you're taking a shit or something. if you learn the basics of another slavic language written in latin like czech or polish, it makes it a lot easier to get the hang of russian.

It's the second after Chinese/Japanese in terms of complexity.
I took chinese for 2 years in high school and it's infinitely more difficult than russian. in chinese, not only do you have up to approx. 3,000 unique characters to memorize, each character can mean 4 different things based on the tone of your voice. so you have that to deal with on top of the grammar and stroke order when writing the characters.

go for it dude, but seriously it IS a very hard language to learn. I had a small biz in Romania and when salaries went through the roof there I considered heading into a Russian speaking country, Belarus maybe, hence the course. But no way! The cyrillic alphabet is not easy and the grammar is impenatrable (btw they have two ways to represent written Russian, both very hard to read, the printed script and the handwriting - both different). Romanian is very easy by comparison.

You never learn Russian, it's too fucking complex. If I had to learn it as a foreign language, I would kill myself. It's the second after Chinese/Japanese in terms of complexity.

Actually, and you can Google this, but the D'Psi Kawakki Koo language is the hardest in the world to learn. The language requires the person to make clicking sounds with his tongue, a combination of whistling and clearing one's throat, as well as mixed sign language integrated into the verbal aspect. And the kicker is you can only learn by going out to to the island which won't allow boats, so you have to swim through infested crocodile and piranha waters.

So please do your research more thoroughly next time before you simply say "Oh, Russia is the hardest of languages to learn" :-)

Sure there are bite-size islands where they whistle and click their tongue. I see you like islands, aren't you :) Me too :) Can't wait for season 6 :) I actually meant languages of countries that have some sort of civilization and writing system. Peace!

Have no doubt that's true but who the hell is going to go to the islands to learn how to click their tongue and clear their throat? Especially if you have to swim through alligator infested water! Let them keep their clicking language!

Hmmm a Google search for D'Psi Kawakki Koo brings up one result, this threat. A broader search for Kawakki Koo brings up the same thing?

Guess I won't be finding any YouTube of this eh..

Lol at the tags. Main problem wit that aff programs that unfortunately very few have something real to promote if any. Most of the times this is : warez movies, pills, sms, adult, gambling, file/image hosting, shit dating. There is probably no even analog of Clickbank(but sometimes you can find such salesletter), no CPA stuff (but I know one guy from Russia who have his network with western offers), and no CJ stuff at all!!! Cause business owners are 1) shady 2) not aware about it 3) etc.

No real companies who went online and who can afford it. Probably Ozon.ru = Amazon for books.

But SEO is on the decent level as well as search engines and Google probably not more than 30% of search market there if not lower.

You are mostly right, Russia is very dark in terms of internet marketing. But we do have CPA, and even I think something like an affiliate network: MixMarket. From a single login, you can choose PPC, PPS campaigns to promote. OZON is surely the largest one but BOOKS.ru also has an affiliate program.

The biggest problem is, most Russians ain't have cards. And those who's been given cards instead of cash for payroll, use them solely for cashing out from ATMs. I got a VISA Classic and I personally know nobody with another one.

This is the reason for my second post in this thread.

I speak of Ulyanovsk, maybe Moscow is better, but Moscow isn't the whole Russia.

I've heard it's 4 tones for Mandarin and 7 for Cantonese

This is also the biggest problem in China. The biggest market but without the monies.

Have you met folks from like any of the former USSER asiatic countries? It's like the craziest thing in the world when a very asian looking person busts out with the thickest Russian accent, I tell you!
LOL
