The song playing in my head

I always seem to have a tune playing in my head. Tonight's song is Woody Guthrie's "This Land Is Your Land."

Does anybody else have this peculiar problem? I heard once it's an obsessive-compulsive symptom.
 


I get songs stuck in my head all the damn time. Worst part is, they're completely random and usually I haven't heard them in years. Last night it was "Barbie Girl". I was ready to decapitate myself to make it stop.
 
Who let the dogs out was/is notorious for getting in your head. When I was younger, sometimes the only thing I would hear was woof woof woof, when it got in my head.
 
For some reason this song has been stuck in my head all day.

Haven t heard it in at least 5 years I'm sure.

That's ok, I've had Copacabana playing in my head for about the last 20 years. If there's nothing else playing I whistle it and get it in everyone else' heads too. I used to drive my coworkers mad.

It's either that or it's "is you is, or is you ain't my baby", Tom and Jerry cartoon style.

It's funny because I had Copacabana playing for a couple of days very recently. "Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl..."

Taste FAIL.

Today's tune is the theme from the PBS series "Masterpiece Theater," the one with the trumpets. Can you top that?
