I thought that Dr Masaru Emoto has been discredited but maybe there's something in it.

His "independent" "outside" reviews were no more legit than the testimonials on my autoblog. Until the mythbusters tell me this is valid it's nothing more than linkbait.
 
They only used 2 or 3 containers which might be not perfectly sterile and clean.

If I mail out 1,000 letters, half of them saying that a stock will go up and half of them saying a stock will go down the next day, by the next day, I'll be right with 500 people. Repeat that 10 times and, to a handful of people, it'll look like I'm a prophet.
