I always wonder why people think dogs are intelligent. It's not the dogs that are intelligent, you're just stupid like a dog.

I don't think dogs have an inherent understanding that they are mortal or that human beings are mortal.

This doesn't change a damn thing. Dogs are loyal, period. Let's see a Cat do something like this. No, cats suck.

Yea, cats suck because they don't serve some idiot who claims to be their master. Dogs aren't loyal, they are tamed. Their nature long gone. When you buy an untrained dog, you get a soulless shell of a majestic animal and most of you can still not make it subordinate. If these creatures had any life left in them, they wouldn't be your best friend. They'd rip you apart.
