There'd be many takers for a web-based bulk pinging service

It'd be much useful if someone could use a thousand private proxies + public proxy servers and set up a pinging service with a web interface. It could be set up in a way that the proxies aren't even temporarily banned by search engines.

All we takers have to do is copy & paste our lists of thousands of URLs and press PING.

It has to be cheap though. I saw a service in BST for like $6 for 10k pings. We need a much cheaper one.

Any programmers listening? This would make things much easier...

pingdevice.com is free and works pretty well. the reality is that anyone who can code has thought of making this service, but the margins are pure shit

It'd be nice to use a service that would allow pinging at least 50,000 URLs a week using a simple web-based interface.

So you want someone else to code a web service, publish and support it, and make sure its cheap so there would be almost 0 margins. Good luck with that.

Please read the post again. I'm talking about a SERVICE not a software.

Ok, well then wait around for your blue sky service. The rest of us will keep using software that does it for us.

Ask and ye shall receive. I got tired of hacking together free services and made one. A free version is out there now, with a premium one coming soon...

It also lets you know when your feed has been spidered and will drip feed the links out at a rate you set. Boo ya!

Imagine that. Someone in teh make money on the internet space that wants some useful tool or information for fucking nothing.

"hey bro, you can make tool for me to make life easier. No make it expensive tho, and no tell me to use software. I want you do it for me."

I noticed you do not have a thread for this, i signed up for it. As far as price goes, if the service gets the 80%-90%+ indexing rate like advertised on your site, i dont have a problem paying a fair price. I dont work for free or pennies and i sure as hell wouldnt ask someone else to. Also with indexing rates like that, with the links we use, if i get 90%+ links picked up with an easy to use service like extropy is trying to accomplish we would be dominating niches 24/7. To get those numbers now is a major pain in our asses. Extropy, you show AMs indexing rates like advertised on your website and the serious AM professionals will show you the money.

I sent you a couple pms about this, looking forward to your reply.

@ Jacky8

threads like this help attract Smart programmers and are what help spawn high end tools for us to use.

I'll make a thread here sometime later to give it the full run down.

It will have a premium version for $10 or $15 that does full pinging of all links. The free version will do what all of us SEOs always did - make a rss feed of links and ping it. (Free also has spintext, drip feed scheduling, and logging of spider date/time)

I will point out that there is a difference between crawling and being added to the index. The site will get 100% of your links crawled, but if they are low value profiles the pages may or may not get added to the index. Even if they aren't added to the index, you'll still be getting credit for the link. It's easy to track SERPs going up from the low value links getting crawled instead of ignored.
