Emp,
.

Also you can't just leave me with the religious fanatics. I will come to Germany and kick your godless ass.

:turbo:

Didnt the USA already do that in 1945.
I must admit I love your cars. I got the newer 330i love the handling, thinking about the new m3.

So were just going to ignore the part about the multi million death toll in the 20th century.

Believe in Foot fetish, stop worrying and enjoy your life.

Wha?

I don't think it's just the lord that you're high on.

I personally don't believe in the existence of god. I also don't go around preaching atheism though. It doesn't matter what religion people around me belong to, I just don't care. I have way more important things to do than worry about what shadows other people pray to and I have no intention of shaping my life around faith.

*sigh* I fear turbo too much to quit now.

OK then, on we go.. :)

@ -Matt- The truth of the matter is: The religulous people will not leave us alone.

It is NOT as rusky said "religion is not used for politics"

Well.. @Rusky

I think that issues such as education, gay marriage, abortion, rape treatment, ... just to name a few ARE political enough and religion IS interfering with it.

Also, that is why I think this is important.

I believe in God. He does exist.

You should see the hubbub on Y!Answers. There's some major mudslinging. Lot of confusion out there because people don't look at the bible in its entire context.

Or could it be.....SATAN!

These are new issues and new threads; with much more arguing. I made my points. Both sides have issues, not admitting it would be living under a rock in the past century.

Education - Give me and my child a voucher so I can take them to a school of my choice. You do the same. (I pay taxes too. Private schools are doing a much better job anyways)

Homosexuality - Do your thing. Even religious people aren't perfect and sin. We shouldn't be the judges. (I don't have to think its okay or have teachers read my children books about Adam and Steve in kindergarten) Its for the good of human survival, lets keep the numbers up. Reproduce if you can.

Abortion - Be responsible first of all. I've seen birth happen in from of me. Its a beautiful thing. Imagine a 6.4ft guy tearing up. To think its okay to murder that child a month or two before its born, just tears my heart. He thinks, he looks, he grabs you, he has a right to live. (See this is were the whole its just an Animal thing comes to play)

Rape treatment - Horrible stuff. Wont go there. As Obama said its above my pay grade.

Its intresting to see most of these issues promote life (except the education part). Those darn Christians what are they thinking about.

1 or 2 months before it's born??? Who the hell told you that? Abortion should only be legal as long as it's just a lump of cells (and this is what most people advocate). Up until the third month it has not developed a brain and it can't be considered a life.

Can't we all just get along?

The way i look at it - some people need religion to live...gives them meaning to life, builds a support system. And some people don't need it, they find their own meaning, their own support. I'm not going to bash anyone for their beliefs however stupid it may seem...if it complements their lifestyle and makes em happy, praise ala... what i am gonna bash you for is the actions you take.

Believe in whatever makes you happy, and live and let live.

There's probably no God - keyword should have been changed to maybe.

Nobody knows the answer for certain.

But nice job spending 40,000 pounds spreading a stupid answer to a question nobody knows the real answer to.

Somebody mentioned religion causes a lot of problems in the world. :error: Correction, organized religion causes a lot of problems in the world.

Get rid of the power tripping organized religion and there would be world peace, from Israel to Iran.

I think more people around the world would believe in God if this happend, not less.

Organized religion really turns people off to believing in God, at least from what I have been exposed to (and I'm sure many of you as well).

The main problem with people is that they think they know all there is to know. Humanity thinks its the center of the universe, and people believe where we are now is basically IT (things have always been this way though).

In reality, we have a long way to go both mentally and spiritually. We are young as a species and still don't know much at all - we are essentially the retards of the universe.

There was a day I didn't believe in God, but I did a lot of thinking about it and realized something completely different. Within every brain there is a capacity for spirituality - there's no evolutionary purpose behind spirituality (it doesn't help us survive or fuck), yet it's there. I can say tapping into this part of your brain is really weird at first (and the most intense, its like losing your virginity), but very eye opening. Or should I say mind opening.

Einstein believed in an impersonal God. That's my stance as well.

I disagree. I think this is just an extension of our survival instinct. The idea that we don't live forever in some way or form is the very antithesis of the basic evolutionary trait to survive.

How did you come to the conclusion that spirituality ='s the idea of not living forever?

IMO a sense of mortality has nothing to do with spirituality.

Everyone needs a sense of mortality otherwise we would be jumping off of cliffs for phun.
