Think twice before speaking out against the government

so do you want people to sit by and allow things to happen and shut up OR NOT?!?

dude, what is wrong with your brain?!?!
I think he's saying that he wants us to have a full-on, bloody american revolution today...

All I got to say to that is: Too much work for me, I'm outta here!

People just allowed the elections to go by. People just allowed 2000-2008 happen. It happened. It was allowed to happen.

Of course all this bs will ignite...but...
*It won't ignite if people waste their energy protesting, thinking they're doing something.*

It seems you have a major disconnect between thoughts and actions. Protests are simply a tool for raising awareness. Just like this post and all the others all around the internet. If people don't spread the message how is anything ever going to get organized enough for real action?

Same people just got their education by the very government they are supposed to be mad at, and couldn't possibly be expected to think critically on this matter.

Perhaps you don't see the mid-game then.

Between the sad life stuck watching constant MSM on one end, (Bread and circuses keeping the populace stupid) and full revolution on the other end, there must be a middle ground where people like us pull sheeple out and show them the real world. Just like how Morpheus pulled out Neo in the Matrix.

We're there right now. Too small to win any revolution, too pissed to go back to being sheeple. This is the game you have to play to build your army.

I'd suggest you get good at it.

I know my view is hard to understand, it needs beer and verbal communication, not typing...but i'll try

You will not beat the state, ever. No movement has ever rebelled successfully. There has never been a popular revolution. There will never be a revolution. Civilization cannot allow it.

The reactions of the protesters are dangerous to the state, it makes them nervous. The state are people with families, not deities, they have fear and passion just like you.

There are people in the system fighting for you like you wouldn't believe, it's why things aren't as bad as they could be. All these movements do is discredit their arguments about the goodness of self governance and the people's innate goodness.

Don't you see a rift being driven between us? 99% vs 1%...THATS the only reason they're mobilizing to protest; seemingly overwhelming odds in their favor. They want to force their masters into submission, and their masters are growing afraid, and are purchasing bodyguard police forces.

But enough of this, let's get constructive, how to solve:
1. Lower your personal debt
2. Vote
3. Get involved SOME WAY that isn't reactionary; build something
4. Try to create jobs and employ people; you can't count on corps.
5. Educate yourself on statehood/civil responsibility
6. Don't be afraid of what might come; don't fear success or failure

#6 is absurd because with all this shit going on, how can you not fear? This: You will die one day, you don't know that day; there is a power greater than you that you cannot do anything about. Do the best you can, here, now, for as many as you can. But REALLY help them, educate them, teach them what's going on and if THEY decide to get radical, that was their choice. Don't inflame their passions, show them all sides of the story.

OMG EXAMPLE!!!!!

Ever hear that Europe was a 'backwards' uncivilized place in school in the middle ages? Ever wonder or ask why that was? Why were Europeans so dumb and the Islamic world so rich in culture and science at the time?...The Ottoman Empire goddamn RAPED Europe of their natural resources, returned little to no finished goods, but stole SO much material resources trading only wealth to the elites. Europe replicated this with the idea of Mercantilism/Colonialism, the idea of taking natural resources from a colony and selling back finished goods, but they fucked up and treated the US like the Ottomans treated Europe. THIS is why we're in the Middle East now, 1000 year old revenge (that we allowed to happen based on our need to be safe). Did you ever hear this version of history? Probably not, because it doesn't look good on our civilization to be built on an idea so reactionary and vengeful and would go to such lengths to "balance their accounts."

If you've watched the movie Network, it's that speech about the ebb-and-flow of global dollars. It's all an equalizing operation that so far supersedes individual desires that even the elites get fucked in the process. It is a power greater than all of us, but to understand it is to know how it functions and to find peace. It is an order that is global, and ancient, and will never change. You can get philosophical/religious as to why that is.

If you "Let Go" and try to see the reasons for our modern world, you will find such a tranquility. Fortunes come and go. The state does not hate you if you work to increase love. That does not mean give in to the state, or that the state is kind, but it does imply you cannot fight it head on. Europe has waited centuries to get back at the Islamic world, and to some degree, this is a cleansing that WILL happen, and to think any sort of logic or reason will stop it will be met with disappointment.

you are all over the place. now parades and blocking city streets is the issue?
d.jpg

No, sillywilly.

Parades are just an example of how we don't have unrestrained "freedom of assembly," we need permits and what not to congregate on public land for a purpose. But you have every right to have a parade on your own property, you just can't spill out onto land you don't own.

Blocking city streets is just the most mundane and foolish example of disrupting the state i can think of. You aren't just hurting the state, you're hurting workers and business owners. So, in order to stick it to the man, you're going to hold your neighbor hostage? You're hurting the tax payers' ability to earn income, and you're doing this for them?

My issue is, if you're going to take a stance, don't do it like someone who is angry and unpredictable by taking actions like that with ramifications that aren't understood. Clogging up streets creates more enemies than allies from the factions and populations you need support from.

Considering today's US government is a result of the voter/people's apathy and lack of efficacy and involvement in anything political(Plato said some shit about if smart people don't bother with governance, the state is doomed to be run by herpderps), what the hell is there to complain about?

Honestly, where the hell do Americans think it's American to protest? If you need to walk with picket signs, that means you ignored every warning sign history has blatantly thrown your way up until that point. You're not thinking, you're acting reactionary.

Reactionary people are the ones that will get desperate. If you've been paying attention, everything that's happening follows a direct logical trajectory, and there is NOTHING to whine or yell or protest about.

Get to work, be the best person YOU can be for yourself and others, and that is enough.

You cannot force other people to rally for your cause, and to try to do so with incomplete ideas based on an incomplete knowledge of the situation you're protesting about is insanely dangerous.

Protesting isn't so much French Revolution as it is Reign of Terror and majority tyranny...Not very American ideas

Now I get why you only have 75 posts since 2009.

A word of advice: Go back to not posting, at least then we can only speculate as to whether or not you are a complete idiot.
