I know, she got the traffic which lets her do this. But still. It's all about being at right place [premium countries aka USA/EU/AU] and getting traffic from it.

I call bullshit on those numbers. I run a youtube channel with a shitton of vnews (and got mentioned in the huffington post once) and you dont make that much off ads. Shes probably making more like 20-30k a month. Nothing to sneeze at but nowhere near 130k. Plus Google takes a 45% cut. Gangnam style (2 bil views) only made 6-10 mil, so how the fuck is she making 1.3 mil a year?

Pedophile traffic must be worth its weight in gold?

My brother and his wife are doing very much the same thing with my niece in the blogging world. She is making a couple grand a month now, and getting clothing allowances from a couple brands, but Moms and Dads are working their ass off...

I don`t think she makes that much, that would be around $4.40 RPM. There is a big range in ad revenue depending on the content and the demo, but I have a bunch of channels and they average at about $1 RPM.

Ad revenue sucks on Youtube, especially now with so many people monetizing their videos the bids are way down. On my old trash MFA sites from 2008 I still make around $20 RPM - 20 times what I get on Youtube.

Gotta get that traffic off Youtube and onto your own site. Though most of these "Youtubers" just try to monetize their videos, and maybe sell t-shirts.
