This kid hustled harvard

lol yes they do. considering colleges count the cummalative test scores of multiple test taking sessions.

Ya your right.

Perfect Scores
A perfect score is 2,400 points. Approximately 1,000,000 students take the SAT each year and on average, only 20 of them get a perfect score.

EDIT: And im pretty sure the kid didnt put 5 different testing sessions on his app, which made his combined score a 2,400. If you tell someone you got a perfect score its 2400/2400. Colleges may combine, and all of them dont (if anything id say the ivys dont)

I always laugh when the media reports how much time a person could get for something:

1) That's assuming he would serve the max on each crime which doesn't happen. (ie 5 - 15 actually means 5 years or less, unless you start fucking up big time in prison.

2) The media always stacks the max time for each count on top of each other, which doesn't happen in real life unless it's specifically allowed under state law (normally only for really heinous shit).

The crimes them self have guidelines of, say 0-5 years. He was charged with 20 crimes, so the media is so retarded they just add up the max and come up with the 50 year max number which is so far from the way things work it's not even funny. Also, being charged with a bunch of extra crimes is only done by the prosecutor to scare you and give them bargaining room for you to plead guilty to a couple of them in exchange for them dropping the rest.

What does all of that mean? It means his bond is only $5k, so he's actually looking at anywhere from probation up to a year at the most. Of course, that doesn't make nearly as good of a story though. I hate the fucking media - they do that all the time and it's either because they are incompetent and ignorant, or they intentionally sensationalize.

Probation or up to a year is a punishment that fits the crime, 50 years or anything close would be absurd.

What's up with this guys mouth? lol

And wtf is up with the grand larceny charge? they trying to get him on all the paper he used at the library or something.

Media companies are fine. They've got shareholders to please. The long path to increasing shareholder value used to be in providing good coverage, kinda like Cronkite. Doesn't work as well these days so everyone goes for the short path: sensationalism. If it bleeds, it leads.

I look at the people who believe the media as the idiots. Everyone knows the media sensationalizes and sets aside their journalistic integrity for eyeballs. As least they have an excuse: shareholders, journalism awards, book deals, etc. But the idiots who believe the media?

They're just funny.

I love idiots. Farticles would've never worked if it weren't for the idiots.

Just sayin.

This guy's pathological tendencies bears the mark of a sociopath.

I'm listening to the arraignment and he couldn't even lie properly. He said he received all A's at MIT even though they don't have a letter grading system... LOL

And lying about Phillips, I had classmates that ended up attending Phillips while I went the public school/AP route (since my parents were broke) and those guys were just as stupid as I was... But they could afford coke.
